Blueberry Pancake Pro-tip
Don't add your blueberries to the batter mix.
Instead pour your battermix into the hot oiled pan and drop the berries into the top of the pancakes.
Press them in slightly.
Even better protip: coat them lightly in flour so they don't bleed into the batter.
You don't need to do this if they're fresh

>American """"""pan """cakes""" """"""
With pancakes I often eat Bacon, so instead of using oil or butter on the pancake pan you can use some of the melted bacon fat.
Why do they never have decent lagers or wheat beers on tap? It's always 10 styles of imperial IPAs or some shit. I just want a nice beer that wont rape my taste buds with bitterness.
every beer I had in germany was delicious, but every time I try something new in the states back home it's like drinking a bitter dogs ass.
>>7142934
You cannot and will not escape the hops. Its just the American trend right now.
That being said, its also difficult to find wheat beer on tap in UK. Most standard bars wont have it, and beer places might only have one. Shame really because its very good.
>>7142934
I agree, it's nice to have a balanced, sessionable beer that has some flavor every now and then. 9%+ IPA and stouts are nice but you can't make an evening with them.

Just say "binge drinking", you alkie. There's no way to make this sound classy.
I like to cook it with green onions and garlic, but I'd like to try something new. Share your pork belly recipes.

When I have a hankering for porkbelly I go to Baohaus. I cba to cook it myself when I can just go down the road a few blocks to get a few Chairmen Baos and some tarot fries.

Pretty shit selection
Brewdog are fucking awful
>>7142890
Not a very good selection. The Guinness WI Porter is good though. Although you can get that for £1.50 in most shops. King Goblin isnt too bad either, but nothing special.
Was wondering - how does eyeball tastes like? Does it have some specific flavor and how do you prepare it? Do they differ in taste between the species?

What are some videos of comedians or jokes, or people in drive thrus who express sentiments that you have commonly felt in frustration or anger or whatever while eating or ordering at a certain restaurant.
This kind of sums up how I feel about McDonald's salads.

Is that Huell?
/ck/ is the only board that has any taste. I need some smaller supplementary gifts for my girlfriend's christmas. She's an English teacher and desu she spends all of her time at home in her reading chair by the fireplace in the winter, and on her porch in the summer. She hardly uses most of her house, or any of the space I could get her something to fill. It just seems trivial to get her anything and it makes things very difficult for me. I'm building her a book shelf because she needs one since moving earlier this year, and I've gotten her a couple of books...

Brass knuckles

So far i have gotten her a programmable coffee machine and some quality headphones.
She makes furniture for a living and has to get up very early so the machine will make her mornings more relaxed. The headphones were something she wished for.
Im going to get some high quality coffee and thats it for the year.

I'm thinking about buying the Jack Daniels Single Barrel whiskey for my dad for Christmas. does anyone have any experience with this drink and can recommend it, or recommend me something /better/?
thanks :3
>>7142591
Answer these three questions.
1. What's your budget
2. How much do you love your dad.
3. Would you be willing to prostitute yourself to make more money if the selection is out of your budget limit.

What state do you live in, and do the grocery stores/pharmacies sell liquor?
Price varies by location and restrictiveness of the local alcohol control board.
I like turmeric on my soft-boiled eggs
What the fuck is that?
>>7142342
My guess would be tumeric.
>>7142342
indian spice
to me it adds a mature, full-bodied flavor to the already-savory egg yolk.
I know this has probably been talked about on here, but has anyone fell for the door to door meat salesman? I cant believe my parents did, they even let the creep in the house. Now they have 200 bucks worth of shit, its not even good. How do people fall for this?
>>7142251
They find gullible people who like to be cheap. Once they find the people, they pounce and don't let go.
Sorry, OP.
>>7142262
I could see if it was just expensive for what you get, but this was legit awful, terrible taste terrible texture, and when my parents told me the rant he told them i was pissed
I've had that stuff before. For every good one, there's 20 terrible ones. My grandparents fell for that Omaha shit and it's awful. The one I tried typically sold to restaurants and it was pretty good.
