Just bought pic related and was looking for some advice on how to season it. What seasonings would be best? I was thinking coriander, thyme and cumin to begin with. The problem is what if I'm using the pan in a recipe that doesn't call for these seasonings? Once the seasonings are baked in, there's nothing I can do about it, correct?

You've got a Teflon pan there so it'll be a little tougher to season it. I would start with a very course salt, rock salt works best here. Scrub the surface of the pan HARD with the salt. This will help break down the surface so other seasonings will stick better. From there I would use a mix of whole allspice and cloves, black pepper is also a must. Just dump the spices of your choice into the pan and scrub away like you did with the salt. If you notice any scratches in your pans surface this is what you...

Where I live, whole chicken is more expensive than the parts. It's pretty stupid to be honest, family. For the price of one whole chicken, I could get 3 Walmart chickens (when they get marked down to $2.49) and have some change left over.
OP, go to Wal Mart and see if they have any marked down rotisserie birds. They're an insane value, and they're ready to eat. If they're not $2.49, they're under $4 for sure.

Is cooking brown rice worth the extra time and energy consumption (rice cooker) just for the sake of health? Is the difference in health really that significant?
If you're eating a fuking ton of rice because poor or bulking mixing 25-75 brown-white lets you take really nice shits. Without the brown it can be not so fun.
