I love it. Chicken Madras and Aloo Dum are my usual go-to dishes. Aloo Dum is also very easy to make.

I've had a burning question for a while /ck/, growing up my dad would always tell me to avoid mixing foods that don't go together because it'd be bad for my health and or cause some sort of food poisoning.
For example spicy hot wings and milk, or fish and coffee etc etc. just odd combinations
is there any harm in doing so other than being somewhat disgusting? I just ate a bowl of soup followed by a bowl of cereal and I feel fine, whether my stomach and intestines agree in a few hours remains to be seen, but in general I have a strong stomach

How do I get into whiskey?
I want to like whiskey, because I have a lot of access to Jack Daniel's, but I'm a beers guy (I do like alcohol), and whiskey tastes like water with corrosion to me.

I'd guess most people dont just in to straight whiskey.
Start by mixing it. Get some cheap shit and mix it with Cola, soda, ginger beer or anything else you might enjoy. Over time you will become more accustomed to the taste.

So I got some chicken thighs unthawing and I was wondering what your favorite recipe/ spice mixtures are. I know there are tons available online but I was just looking for some suggestions of particularly tasty recipes anyone might have. I've cooked them before and can whip up a generic garlic and onion powder with bbq seasoning and shit but its getting old. Unfortunately it's the only way ive ever really made chicken besides with sauce or brown sugar rubs.

We're pretty open to everything and like to try new dishes. I was kind of leaning towards some type of pasta dish as I think that would be easier to make. I don't want to do the standard spaghetti with meat sauce though.
