How do you make your scrambled eggs /ck/?
>>7280293
I don't. It's not one of the things I do well, so I get my friends/family to do it.
>>7280293
Gordon Ramsay style
>>7280297
Fucking this. On top of toast.
How does /ck/ like their omelettes?
>Country-style or French-style
>Do you like it runny or not
>What do you fill your omelette with
Personally I like a country-style, because I never tried the French-style. I typically fill mine with mushrooms, peppers and onion, and a bit of cheese, mostly goat cheese and I always add salt, pepper and fresh herbs to my egg mixture before cooking.
>>7280210
doesn't matter, it's just fucking eggs
>>7280210
Imagine if McDonald's folded cheese into their eggs and let it melt. That would be my perfect omelette. Maybe even not technically an omelette at that point. I fucking HATE brown scrambled eggs or omelettes. McDonald's does it right.
Pic related is a pretty decent poorfag meal if you've got a rice cooker and a good non-stick pan.
>nb4 i cook rice in a pot
Kill yourself.
>>7280235
Why don't you order an omelette with cheese?
Do the British and the French eat Cream of Wheat?
>inb4 what about grits
>>7280205
>eating jail food when you're not in jail
>>7280205
As a Brit, I've never known anybody to eat it. I've only seen it on /ck/ and in boxes in the supermarket.

In the mid 90's McDonalds went all out in trying to make itself a pure dinner destination rather than a quick service restaurant.
McPasta and McPizza were introduced and so were sides like Mashed Potatoes. Obviously it didn't work out, but let's get a thread of failed menu items on fast food restaurants or otherwise
You now remember the Wendy's Superbar
>>7280172
Never even heard of/seen this before. What was this all about?
>>7280189
It was basically a buffet. Pasta, salad and Mexican food.
Make your own pasta, nachos or salad, all you can eat.

What the fuck can you make out of a fish fillet that isn't just baked or fried?
Excluding outliers, like salmon or tuna, which can be made into multitudes of dishes depending on what preparation they are/
Say you have a pond with a bunch of pan fish and a few bass, if you harvested all of that and had it in your freezer, what do you make?
(all I can really think up is fish soup or fish tacos, the latter of which is just the aforementioned bake/fry in a tortilla)
i could eat pan seared fish with lemon caper butter sauce the rest of my life and never get tired of it
>>7280079
Fish pie
Fish soup
Fish stew
Fish a la sous vide
Fish sushi
Boil it.
Place grouper filets in a pan with lemon juice and salt and pepper.
Pour 2 cups of water into a pot and add the onions, garlic, parsley and thyme, potatoes, butter and chile pepper. Bring to a boil and boil about 10 minutes or until the potatoes are almost done (add more water, if necessary).Add the fish with marinade juices, reduce the heat to low and simmer about 10 minutes, or until the fish is just cooked through and starting to flake.
>sriracha anything

At what age did you first take an interest in food and cooking? How did this interest first occur?
ever since i was a little kid

I've been interested in not starving to death from the moment I was born

Ok I'll pussy something for you. Looks like high class Italian but is the easiest thing ever. Minicotti. Mix one third grated mozzarella one third spinach ( frozen works best ) and one third cottage cheese. Add some Italian seasoning. Cook Minicotti shells to all dente. Please leave if you don't know what that is. Stuff shells with cheese and spinach mix. Cover with any spaghetti sauce and bake. Add done parmesan if your not that poor. Enjoy with wall Mart garlic bread.
What are some good gingerbread recipes, /ck/?
This is the one I use..

I don't have a microwave but I have a box of microwaveable popcorn. Can I pop these in a pot?
normal popcorn is cheaper and not cancerous
why not just make that?
I don't know. Try it out and let us know.
What do you all have as meals and snacks for work? I want something healthy and easy to prepare. I usually get lazy or run out of time for meals, but I'm trying to get in the habit of preparing sandwiches, specifically with turkey and veggies. For snacks I usually bring fruit like an apple or orange. What do you all do? Any suggestions?
i eat sunflower seeds, peanuts in the shell and apples
i used to also bring boiled eggs but eggs make me sick now :(
>>7279929
Its a lot easier if you can make something the night before, and just grab it out of the fridge.
Nuts and seeds (not with dried fruit) make for a decent snack if you can portion 100-200 calories at a time.
Yogurt and fresh fruit is never a bad idea.
hummus and pita crackers isn't so bad.
small vegetables to crunch on, try not to pack a dip as it usually adds unnecessary calories to your day.
I liked beef jerky, but it often leaves strong breath.
Are you trying to lose weight or just save money by not eating out all the time?
