Tell me your problems.
I am back with some free time so if there's anything I can help you with feel free to reply.
A little bit about me:
>female
>in uni
>full time teacher (not a school teacher; working at an institution with extra classes for children 6-10 years old)
>socially active person
>passionate about foreign languages
'sup OP.
I've got all my ducks in a row relatively speaking. I've got a house of my own, a job that pays well, and the world at my fingertips.
The problem I'm having is I feel entirely disconnected from the people around me. I enjoy the company of good friends and family. I have nothing to bond with them over. I don't have any hobbies worth talking about nor do I have interest in things others take interest in. It's starting to wear me down being the odd man out and makes me feel entirely undatable.
What do you see as the best solution to this issue?

Make up your mind about who you want to befriend/have a relationship with. Let's call first grill Anna and the second one Julie.
So if Anna wants a relationship, being real friends is out of discussion. You either hook up or friendzone her and keep your distance.
If you hook up with Julie, Anna is gonna be affected no matter the circumstances but it is up to you.

my problem is that you're not sucking my dick right now
you think you, a female that has probably never had a hard day in your life can give people help, fuck off
>be me
>have "friends"
>I say that in quotations because I'm afraid we've been drifting apart lately
>friends are in a band
>I go to every gig the band does because I like supporting my friends and their music is great
>they had a gig today which I found out about two hours beforehand
>I couldn't go because I had a shift at work
>I feel like I've let my friends down by not going
>maybe they think I'm uninterested in pursuing our friendship
>I'm afraid
>what do I do?
>they have a gig next week I'm gonna go to that
>but I feel like I've let them down and that tomorrow at school they'll be ignoring me
>inb4 "this board is 18+"
I'm eighteen and in my final year of school.
>>16857113
Relax dude. You won't be able to go to every gig they go to. You have a life too. Your life shouldn't revolve around your friends. If they were your true friends they would understand this.
Girlfriend of a month texted me last Friday to tell me that she was having doubts and that she wanted to break up. Thing is, I don't think she doesn't love me anymore.
She had already told me when we started going out that she has always had a fear of commitment and that that is what has ruined her last relationship.
I really don't want to lose her and asked her is she would be willing to talk to me but she said that she wouldn't have time this weekend.
I didn't want to pressure her so I have left it at that for now.
I am really afraid that she's not going to follow up on it and don't know what t do.
Should I just leave it for now and hope she messages me? Should I wait until Monday ans asks again if she wants to talk? And even if she would be willing to talk about it, how do I talk her into trying to continue a relationship despite the issues?
(Also I have no actual evidence it is her fear of commitment that made her break up, its just speculation but everything was going fine for as far as I know)
>>16857112
>wouldn't have time this weekend
You can't guess what she's really up to?
>>16857117
She had family coming over that next Saturday and I guess shes either working (she sometimes works Sundays) or free today.
A mutual friend who knows her for a little longer than me told me that she tends to avoid problems so I cant tell if she is genuinely busy or is trying to avoid me
>>16857112
Dude... Do not fucking message her, and do not expect a message back from her.
You can either pretend that she still wants you, and pine and whinge and look all pathetic begging for her, which will drive her away even more, or you can just let it go and move on.
>Girlfriend of a month
This is a super short amount of time so it should be really easy for you detach from her.
>she has always had a fear of commitment
so she was upfront with you that it wouldn't be long term or serious
>Thing is, I don't think she doesn't love me anymore
I don't know what kind of twisted logic you work on, but she broke up with you after saying she has commitment issues. It's pretty clear she doesn't want to pursue things with you.
>I didn't want to pressure her so I have left it at that for now.
about the only sensible thing you've done in this situation
>talk her into trying to continue a relationship
Women aren't horses that you have to break in and train to conform to the way you want them to be...
>Also I have no actual evidence it is her fear of commitment that made her break up
Apart from the fact that she said this was the reason...
It sounds like you don't trust this girls own judgment, and that you're in love with some fantasy version of her rather than the person she actually is.
Don't make a dickhead decision with this mate. Learn and move on.
>seeing guy for close to 1 month now
>I was fine leaving it as 1 night stand but he decided to pursue it
>he asked me on 4 dates in 1 week but that has died down significantly to 1 date a week
>sex is amazing but we don't have a lot in common/talk about which sucks
>the only time we ever get into a conversation or move past small talk is when we're drinking, but when we're sober there is so little to talk about and so many awkward silences
>I feel that I'm starting to grow attached whereas he is becoming less so
>texts are very infrequent maybe once every 3 days
>I have a feeling that this is dying a slow death which sucks because I'm really starting to like him but don't know how to keep him interested apart from the sex
>we are polar opposite, I've tried using humour, and just 'being myself' or whatever but even that kinda fails
>I know it's early days but I really don't want to be the one that becomes invested in this (especially since I didn't want this in the first place).
Shall I nip this in the bud and stop seeing him before I get too emotionally invested and hurt, or shall I risk it and just try and pursue this.
BTW this is my first 'relationship/date' whatever the fuck youd call this thing that we are.:(
He gets more out of the sex than he does the relationship. He's keeping you around (barely) for easy access. If you have that little of a connection that you can't talk unless you're both off your face, I think you know how this is going to end.
Don't force your feelings and don't force feelings onto him. Leave and try again with someone else, it's early days and you'll get over it. Maybe get one last shag if the sex is so good.
>>16857090
Stop hanging out with him.
Limit it to sex only if you must.
Come to terms with your Daddy issues.
I don't watch much porn or anything. I don't know much about female bodies. I was recently recording a lewd video for my boyfriend, and I just realised something. When I'm horny my butthole opens up, like it sounds gross but you know what I mean. Is this normal?
>>16857089
>Is this normal?
yes
I think we'll need to see this video to be certain whether it's normal or not
My god women disgust me
end your pathetic life you filthy fucking succubus
Here is the story of how my highschool sweetheart and I broke up, its been 1 year since and it still is the only thing that I can think about.
I was camping with my gf Ellie who I was dating through highschool and who I have just gotten engaged to, we were camping with some close friends and it was amazing until she kept on bringing up the time that we both cheated on each other while our group was on the topic of relationships while setting up camp.
This spawned a huge fight between us that we had never had before, we managed to keep it on the downlow for the whole trip so the other's wouldnt here us but on the last night of the camping trip it went out of hand.
She cheated on me with a close guy friend and I did the same but with my best friend who was female, we made up after fighting a couple of times through highschool but she never liked the fact that I was still friends with my best friend who was on the trip.
But on the night of the last night during dinner our fight got out of hand, Ellie and I were both angry because of the small fights we have been having during trip and we both just exploded into this huge fight.
We managed to just let it go for the night, but while we were sleeping in our tent the fight was sparked again, but this time she just got up and left and while I went out of the tent to get her she looked at me dead in the eye with tears down her cheek and said
"Anon, I love you but there is so many things in our way... I want this to work but im not sure this is what I want anymore"
I was heartbroken, she told me that one of the biggest things in our way was my best friend, she bottled this up for so long but she couldnt take it anymore and wanted me to just take her out of my life.
I told her I couldn't do that, by then everyone who was sleeping got out of their tent and was watching us argue but we couldn't see them because it was dark.
>>16857087
well, who do you love more? you answered that question.
>>16857087
>but she never liked the fact that I was still friends with my best friend who was on the trip.
The fact that she stayed with you at all after this was a miracle. If you're expecting sympathy, you don't deserve it, because anybody that intends to keep the person they cheated with around them while in a relationship, goes beyond being selfish or an idiot.

I realized that I am getting white hairs. (25 years old male here) and it really depresses me.
Is there a way to prevent white hairs? I am open to any advice.
>>16857081
Why would you want to prevent it?
I think it looks good on most males.
>>16857081
Embrace it. Dunno what your natural hair colour is but if it's darker I think it'll look pretty good. Gives a bit of character, grizzles you up a bit. Bonus points if they're on your face too.
I knew this lad a few years ago who had a thick white moustache when he was about 17. No-one could ever take their eyes off it and he was always flanked with poon. I'd love a few grey hairs.
I stared getting some gray hairs at 23. I have friends at 18-20 that have a few. Get used to it. It adds character and makes you look older while retaining your more youthful face. Girls like it.
As a guy, how do you stop caring about your appearance?
I'm obsessed with looking in mirrors to see if I look alright and when I look shitty I can get depressed for weeks. Ill dwell on it all day and get really anxious about it in public.
>>16857062
care for your appearance instead of caring about your appearance.
>>16857062
Do you go to gym? If not you should try it, often when I feel upset with myself I just go, even have to force myself to, but as soon as I start I feel a lot better.
>>16857083
I do go to the gym, I care more about my face aesthetics though
Is it possible to have a social life without Facebook?
I would like to go to a gatherings of people of similar interests, but it seems they are all organized through Facebook. I don't have Facebook. I hate Facebook.
>>16857041
get facebook, moron
it's like saying you love talking but you hate the sound that comes out of people's mouths'
>>16857047
And have Zuckerberg's thick, warm, throbbing dick all the way up my ass?
No, thank you!
>>16857041
I was literally the only one without facebook but made one when I was 18 because of a girl I liked and she kept dropping hints that I should make one '(21 now).
Def helped and increased my social life a lot. It's not like a magic pill but if you've got a good friend circle already it makes everyhing easier.
If you're already isolated then it won't do much
So I was washing some clothes and got my clean/dirty piles mixed up and ended up wearing a shirt I used as a cum towel.
My mom went "what's that all over your back?", a question I legitimately didn't know the answer to. So I took off my shirt and was horrified to see weeks worth of dried cum stains on my shirt.
I'm pretty sure she knows, she ain't no dummy honey.
Fuck
what advice do you want, kid? you want to share with us your you are a retard? thanks, kid.
>>16857015
Fucking amusing post cheer OP! How the fuck do you not feel the stiff patches on the fabric?
>>16857068
Because i'm an oblivious dingus :(
I'm a guy and I have some dark patches around my neck since I was a little kid, because of a skin disease. The thing is, I think I finally found some make up that can make this go away, but I don't know if I should use it.
I think it's going to bring too much attention to my neck since people will notice how clear it is now. I also dislike the fact that I'll have to use it everyday, if I don't use one day people will notice that I was wearing make up.
What do you guys think? Should I use it? I really would like to have a normal neck, with the same color as the rest of my body.
>>16857014
Man try it out. If you're feeling good about it when it's on that's cool. If your not then give it a good go for a bit and see if your OK with it. What have you got to lose? It's obviously an issue for you so give it a go! Peace
Yeah they will notice at first but they will get over it. If it helps you feel better do it.
HEy, /adv/, I'm gay, k lel? k.
>>16856960
Did you need advice? We really don't care if you're gay or not.
I just got my first traffic ticket. I am wondering how I can get out of it. The officer said " You were going 35 over but I reduced it to 6 miles per hour over." I looking for advise on how to get out of it and I honestly think I was going much faster than what he gave me a ticket for. Any tips would be appreciated.
>>16856951
>going more than 35 miles over the speed limit
Are you trying to kill someone?
He cut you a break because 20 over and up is an automatic go to jail speed in most areas.
Look for a traffic lawyer and get that shit taken care of. Costs a little more, but it's worth it not to have that on your record.
If you see that cop again, thank him. He really should have arrested you.
>>16856951
Pay the money, thank the cop and learn your lesson.
Is French or Spanish easier for a monolingual American to learn?
>>16856945
Spanish probably, given how it's more accessible for you.
Spanish. French is a bit fucked up at some points, spanish is straight-foreard. Not as simple as english but whaddoyouwant, its an roman language>>16856945
Spanish. Once you figure out grammar properly, french might not that hard to learn also, but pronounciation is a whole different thing.
What is this? I have another on my forearm that looks the same. It hasn't gone away for a few days now.
>>16856936
It looks like hair.
