A new rule if I miss a game day I will offer either a free fate point OR an extra day of game running. Anyway I just got back out of some surgery and sorry about missing last week and this tuesday. So to compensate there will be a marathon session.
Brood Actions are based upon civ mutants so if you want an idea of that is like look it up. Thanks to you owning a Brood World you gain 1 upgraded brood action per a turn. Should brood not be in use expect them to be very unpredictable as their default orders.
As for the Corp actions...just look at the civ actions for them too. As I am still trying to figure them out. Sadly for military forces I have yet to find something steady that could work for them.
Anyway last time Petyr was getting his SCIENCE! on while Abigail proceeded to kick ass. Things were going great until the dead world was shattered and shown to be hiding some very nasty surprises.

The problem with the wells at Hope’s Water did have something to do with the demonic, but it was little more than an irate Naiad complaining about horse manure stinking up her water source. Nothing too malicious that didn’t call for any sort of overt action. All O’Donnell had to do was convince the locals to dump their crap somewhere else, and the demon had been satisfied enough to let her waters run again.
Two days and one discreet reward later from the mayor, and the four Devil Busters went riding off into the wilderness again....

You raise your eyebrow, but comply, squinting at the creatures depicted on the paper. Baring the mystic script that decorates nearly every blank space of the, the pictures are some of the finest that you’ve seen outside of a formal museum.
You can’t quite explain how or why, but it feels like there’s some sort of…life-like quality within the images.

How does one properly play out a modern day setting? I've been thinking of it but came to the thought that it will be uneventful for the most part, so then I came to think of how to make it interesting for players.
So how do you make modern city settings interesting and enjoyable if it's not something already fun like Velocity?

The big thing I've noticed about most games set in the modern day is that the PCs are regular people with good intentions rather than heroes of legend so the stories tend to be a bit simpler or at least less "epic" than what is found in most fantasy games. I'm not familiar with Velocity but to imply that a game set in a modern city would be inherently uninteresting is incredibly short sighted. It's not like there aren't hundreds of interesting and enjoyable movies, books and TV shows...

Mmkay, so, at present I'm in the process of designing a game. Never made one before, and it'll be quite large. (Incidentally, it probably won't succeed but, I am going to try nevertheless!)
