Given the force awakens use of a new hope as a story blueprint we can only imagine the same for episode 8 and the empire strikes back perdiction time.

I just rewatched some scenes between these 2 together, and holy hell if they won't go the sibbling/family route there are some mad sparks in there between these two.
Imagine Rey falling slowly to the dark side/for Kylo in episode 8, a triangle even between the 3 leads.

Either they should have put a kiss into the interrogation scene ( inverting the heroic reward kiss with a bad guy captures girl kiss ) or they should put one into the second movie, and then later reveal they are cousins. Kissing cousins is way less trouble than kissing siblings.

Point out a single plot flaw in the prequels that are at the same level of nonsense as Rey being a god, hyperdrive being instantaneous (which invalidates the whole "let's train while the ship travels through hyperspace" bit in ANH) or the whole undoing of the development made at the end of the OT with the empire being back, the rebels still being a separate entity and being largely the same as before.
Meanwhile, the prequels tie the story together perfectly, even expanding and explaining the less-developed parts of the OT like force ghosts and the clone wars.
the prequels are god tier; they were true star wars. interesting settings, interesting characters, and best of all no death star.
The prequels are above average quality given what we know about jar jar now. While as TFA would be about just average. It just wasn't that great compared to the others.
