First for glorious YJ thighs
Drakios, Teucer and Atalanta are unplayably bad aren't they?
I love the models but nobody ever seems to use them...
>>46071974
I've proxied Atalanta once (in vanilla) and she's just too squishy to justify the investment. With no defensive skills or nwi and only ARM 2 with 1 wound, she just rolls over to everything.
Teucer at least has nwi, so he might be better? Idk
And then there's always the competition to be considered - phoenix just looks so much better, considering link team boni
There is msv to consider, of course - butaren't agema just better for that? They sure are cheaper. And vanilla has other...

Describe how your vampires work and their history in your setting.
Also, are vampires stronger/weaker than werewolves?
>Vampires are weak to attacks to the heart, garlic (they're just really allergic to the stuff), and holy powers, but can still put up a good fight even if you have or do all these things.
>The sun is their greatest nemesis, and it will destroy most vampires if they are caught by surprise by it. If properly prepared though, they can fight in the sunlight, though they will be significantly weaker
>Vampires have beast-forms, and more human-like forms for espionage
>Werewolves...

>Vampires randomly occur from a ghost taking over a human body.
>Anyone they kill by feeding become a hollow, a soulless body under the control of the vampire.
>The sun weakens but does not kill them
>In a straight fight the werewolf wins every time but if the vampire has prep time they could pull a few tricks to win like turning into mist to avoid attacks
Personally, I like a fair bit of variation in my undead bloodsuckers, usually dependent on age or some kind of clan structure. You gotta at least have:
THE SMARMY VAMPIRES - These are your typical garden variety attractive manipulative vamps, usually relatively young. Can move among mortal society easily and often lead perfectly normal lives other than the whole blood-drinking and posthuman physical prowess thing. May also be the best at mind-affecting powers.
THE ORLOK VAMPIRES - Your classic Nosferatu types, with vaguely batlike or goblinoid features that mark them...

Is there anything danegerous, that could lurk in such lands, /tg/?
With no dark forests and crags and broken mountains, I doubt there is much danger here. Accasional village, surrounded by fields and full of plump, happy people.
Am I right?
>>46071124
Or alternatively, ragged and down-trodden serfs that slave away each day for sustenance while having to pay exorbitant taxes to their gluttonous liege. They could live there too.
>>46071124
Snakes in the grass. Bullettes. Graboids. Rocs and wyverns that fly in from the nearest mountain range. Bandits. Invisible monsters.

Also the long forgotten dead from ancient wars when the land was claimed, ready to rise and battle once more.
>medieval cities were sprawls of roads going in random directions, looking like overcooked spaghetti in a tornado
When will this meme finally die?
Almost all medieval cities were carefully planed, usually on a square plane. But no, we need to pretend we are so much better and that, teehee, those silly medieval shit farmers were so silly, just look at their silly cities, nothing like our glorious New York.
>>46071080
Is it Krakow ? Very nice mainsquare.
Also, not all medieval cities were "carefully planed", but the limited developments were (this part of the city, this other one, etc). The problems come when planification don't exactly align with the previous "spirit" of the plans.
>>46071080
No they weren't, because most of the time cities started as farming villages arranged however was most convenient for the local residents (who were usually farmers with no concept of infrastructure or traffic engineering). Then someone discovered gold nearby or one of the roads running through the village became a major trade route or something, and people started putting up walls and castles to protect their valuable resources. Except they usually just ended up building their castles and walls wherever was...

It is Krakow, nice catch.
And yes, midieval cities were in the whole NOT planned. You don't actually think that the planning you see there is the original from the 11th century, do you?
Save for a few utilities vital to the cities and somme large public buildings, NOTHING in these cities was planned. A good detailed explanation can be found in the redevelopment of London and Paris in the 19th century, when the cities were indeed confusing winding mazes , with transport avenues much too small for modern traffic.
The campaign for Polaris RPG is live !!
Kickstarter project page: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/blackbook/polaris-rpg/
Please join us in this adventure and help fund this beautiful game, for the first time available in English!
The Polaris RPG is set in a far future where the world above ground has become uninhabitable for the human species. Human beings have found refuge in the depths of the ocean, where they try to somehow survive in spite of the many difficulties they encounter in this hostile environment. The species’ degeneration (characterized by the increasing number of sterile individuals and various genetic mutations), the perpetual wars that have ravaged entire colonies, the monsters, and, above all, the difficulty of exploiting natural resources are the immediate problems faced by this civilization.
In this new world of silence and darkness, players can choose to become agents of one of the underwater factions, mercenaries working to keep afloat, or freelancers trying to establish their own communities. No matter which side they pick, they will discover that nothing is completely black or white, and that humankind will need to unite against a common adversity if it wants to survive. Meanwhile, they will have to fight against all odds and gear up as best they can, buying precious breathing mixes or fluids. They will need to tinker, patch up, and stitch together their submarines. Luck may smile upon them when they discover brand-new equipment or one of the stashes left behind by the ominous Empire of the Geneticians. Their fate will be much darker if they happen to stumble upon raiders or pirates. Adventurers will, however, get a chance to gain fame and even influence the world’s destiny through their actions and discoveries. Humankind is in need of heroes, and empires can sometimes be born from simple ideals. All these elements and many others make up the backdrop of this universe in which one great mystery prevails: the Polaris Flux.
In addition to funding the project (which we'd love you to obviously), you can also help us by spreading the word! Please forward this information to your friends and contacts, share the Kickstarter's page on social media (Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Pinterest, Reddit, Tumbler, etc). Black Book Editions is not established (yet) outside of the French speaking world, so any help will be not only greatly appreciate, but will also benefit all the backers by unlocking great Stretch Goals.
Feel free to join us and ask questions on the Kickstarter page. Also remember...

>Bloodborne is coming soon to a table near you; CMON Games and Eric Lang, designer on XCOM: The Board Game, have revealed an official card game adaptation of From Software's game about walking nightmares and the Hunters who slay them.
>Exact details on how the game will work have yet to be revealed, but Lang wrote on Twitter that play is based not on the story, but on the game's Chalice Dungeons - semi-randomized dungeons with monsters, traps, and bosses lying in wait at the end. Players compete to kill monsters, with each session of play taking around 30 minutes. There will be no teensy-tiny Hunters to move about, but Lang nonentheless promises "sweet components."

Bullshit.
The Silent King and the Szeras engineered the Necrons using C'tan knowledge. They choose who retains their minds or not, not the C'tan.

Bullshit.
That's not stated anywhere.

That could really go either way, couldn't it? The Unchained Summoner does refer to it as the "summoner spell list", but contains a rider
>(The unchained summoner's spell list is different from standard summoner's spell list.)
While the Magical Child has no such rider. So.. That really could fall on either side...

Daily reminder that Magical Child is just a way crappier Unchained summoner desperately trying to be relevant with a weak Mauler familiar.
Daily reminder that "magical girl" is a profession, not a class or an archetype.
There are fighty magical girls, shooty magical girls, punchy magical girls, casty magical girls, bardic magical girls, completely peaceful magical girls, etc. etc.
Pigeonholing them into a single class or archetype would be a disservice.
Make it an akashic VMC that gives you a "costume" of veils. Make familiars...

First for the XII legion
>>46069217
Had my first game in six year yesterday, 500 points of cult militia versus 500 points of Black Templars (40k). Got my ass handed to me due to lack of sufficient anti tank but zealot is a damn good rule.
Neither my friend or I know the rules, we're playing a mishmash of half remembered third ed rules supplemented by a 7th ed reference sheet I found on line. Not sure what formations or decries or whatever they're called are.
>>46069345
give militia squads krak grenades and glance shit to death as you swarm the board or just take the tainted flesh and zealot and be fearless and drown shit in rending attacks with rerolls on the first turn you charge.
