Skeletal constructs are especially welcome - all the stuff made from bones or incorporating skeletons in their construction (e.g. as moving parts). Especially vehicles / buildings / mechanisms.

In the year 203X, an asteroid brushes against the moon, littering the earth with moon shards which turn it into a heavy metal post-apocalyptic desert ruled by merciless swordsmen. Cities are more like mobile caravans because staying in one place for two long is a recipe for being vaporized the next time a moon shard falls.

The protagonist is a wandering gambler/conman, who is naturally also a brilliant swordsman. Moreso than simply a player of games, he lives by the philosophy of submission to fate, rolling dice to determine where to move on in his quest and flowing with the course of destiny wherever it might lead him. I say at some point in the past staying in one place for too long and refusing to move on caused him some tragedy, maybe related to moon rocks.

The antagonist is a badass, gigantic wasteland preacher who believes they've all lived through Armageddon and that he and his followers might redeem themselves and enter paradise if they wipe all the heretics off the wastes. His soldiers wear black cloaks in imitation of his priest garb.

While the scenario might be fun to play in as something like a computer game, I'm not sure if I'd run it for my group. It sounds like it would work better with a more coherent plot. Also, starting off with a Metal Gear song seems to have put me in a Japanese mood. This setting is basically an anime, and I don't run anime games.

So. Introduced a friend to Shadowrun and tabletop games all in one go when I ran a session with him and another friend who was in my several month long shadowrun campaign a year ago.
The newbie made an awakened who was somewhere between a face and a covert ops specialist, using just their magic. He took it all in quite well, and even established his character and roleplayed it well.
I basically just ran a loose copy of Food Fight because holy shit its the best module for a new group ever.
The problem is, at the start, the two characters were strangers. At the end, the scary troll robber with the shotgun was dead and the two started fighting over the cash that the troll was stealing. They became the robbers and they were at each others throats for the few hundred nuyen the Stuffer Shack had.
They eventually split when Lone Star showed up, but the newbie magician mind fucked the other character into telling him where he lived after he was forced to give up the cash.
They obviously have spiteful intentions towards each other, so how do I make them work together?
I'm thinking i could always do the 'kidnapped by a corp because you didnt erase security footage, now you work for us' thing.
But that seems cliche and lame, but I cant think of any other reason they would go co-op, it was all honestly roleplayed excellently, so the two players are loving it, but im not sure how long a non co-operative two player shadowrun game can last.

"Once we gather enough information, we'll collect our findings, if we need to take some risky ventures in the Underside so be it. On Coordination of such an operation I would entrust it to our Interrim Party Leader Burkhard. When at last we've pieced together a picture of where our missing persons went, we may Launch an effort or perhaps two in the various Subfloors that crop up in our findings.
