Finally got to run my funtimes trencher OW game for the first time.
Party was dead-dropped outside of a severan fortress with the rest of their platoon and told to take it. They cleared the area to the trench, killed everyone inside, breached the wall and cleared the base while preventing the Severan Dominate forces from detonating their munitions dump when they realised the base was lost.
It was not quite as deadly as i was hoping, they played it very smart with smoke grenades and suppressing fire. Also holy fuck the Spring talent makes you sanic the motherfucking...

For some reason, it appears consultations are discounted from the price you remember. The cost of revealing a prophecy, however, has become much more unattainable. The idea occurs to you that these prophecies entail the major events in a particular region.

I mean, there is Mordheim, Necromunda, Kill Team, maybe even Gorkamorka, the 'new' Frostgrave and much more.

Would you have 10 soldiers with a personality for each? Different stats for each?

At a certain point your dudes mechanics turn into role-playing light.
I just want a tight and balanced rules set with lots of customization and inspiration for making all my minis unique and think up little backstories for them, but If you start to add personality rules you're just overcomplicating things without really making the game more fun to play.

I murdered a PC today. Not killed. Murdered. Premeditated murder.
I planned the encounter to work to his weaknesses. I plotted before hand on how I would do it. I knew how he fights and made the battle perfect so that he would be in the right place at the right time to get damaged. I even cheated some rolls to kill him.
I feel a little bad, but I don't regret it at all. I know some would call me a bad GM or insult me, but I have my reasons.
I had been too lax on the players. I have a reputation for being too easy on them...

I'm biased because it was my first block, but that dual-color focus is something special. Even though each setting has something unique to it, Ravnica does an excellent job of demonstrating color interactions; in my opinion it does this much better than Alara (though it is understandably not as easy to line up three colors flavor-wise).
Playing in that block taught me what kinds of colors that I like and what kind of gameplay that I like. Pic related is one of my favorite cards ever, and...

I don't mind Psionics, at least in theory, but at the same time I cannot stand the majority of players who insist on Psionic characters. What is the draw you guys have towards Psionic characters and why won't you okay anything else? Why are they so much better than all other classes in your eyes, regardless of edition or gaming system?

I prefer psionics in Pathfinder since power points are infinitely more easy to keep track of than all the per day spells.
I enjoy having a psionic character usually since it compliments being a social character. Mind reading, telepathy, etc.
I certainly wouldn't play anything other than a "spellcaster" or diplomancer as a psionic though.

You watch the foliage making a mad dash to the West at an impressive pace for something that should be completely inanimate. You can't tell what's moving it, but you have a feeling you know what it's running from. A group of maybe fifteen or twenty men on air bikes are chasing it. From this high up you can't make out much more beyond that, but it's very easily the strangest thing you've ever seen in your life.
