The text for the witch option (where it says Compassion & Mystery) is a little bit on the hard to read side where it intersects with the background image. It isn't as tricky on the blue side but the purple doesn't seem to filter it out enough. I mean, I was still able to read it fine. It just wasn't quite as pleasant as it could be.
There's a typo in Elder Master: r esponsibilities. It should be easy to see b/c it was word-wrapped.

Hmm... I think Wandering Mistress is the most exciting Master. I care more about the Master-familiar bond than running around with other familiars. As much as I'm tempted to go with a monkey for hands, I think I'd have to pick cat for the classic aesthetic. Either way, mammal is the best regular option.

Shinobi Quest #15

This quest takes place within the lands of the Five Great Shinobi Nations (aka Narutoverse) starting roughly around the beginning of the original series. The world of this quest remains similar to the original, with slight but notable differences in certain areas, based upon the passage of time from a single slightly altered event.

(It’s a goddamn Naruto Quest, you bastards. Have fun, participate, and write in when you feel inclined. Most of the outcomes of this quest will be determined by you, the players. Critiques and questions are always welcome, as my knowledge of the weeby shit is not all encompassing.)

A loud shout and the sound of crashing water awakes you; you stumble from your tent, not entirely awake…

“What IS all this noise? We girls need our beauty rest, after all…” you grumble, noting that the other three girls are just as groggy as you are.

The sun is just now beginning to rise- and that’s when you locate the source of the noise- Guy and Lee, in trucks, meditating under the waterfall. Guy is composed, but Lee shivering and complaining about the cold.

Itachi and Sasuke, who apparently had just woken up as well, appear shortly afterward; hair disheveled and sharing the same grimace towards Guy and Lee.

Thas sighed, wiping sweat off of his brow with a dirt and blood smeared rag, the same rag he had used to clean the blades with which he had done the gods work for years of his work.

He hated this part of Toladar, almost as much as he despised Tol'rathar. He groaned, and smacked his horse to make it start trotting onward, the priest following him close behind, looking just as displeased as he was.

There's nothing out here, of course besides the town that sprung up like a bunch of weeds. He sighs and takes a long drink from his hip flask. This is going to be a long day if that angel still acts like she did as a mortal.

I don't know what I'm doing right now, I think Minor woke me up to go fishing with everyone. I can't really tell since I'm around halfway passed out right now. The only thing telling me I'm awake is Blue's constant reminders to stay awake, and little green arguing with her that a queen should be allowed sleep. That and all of the water splashing on me from Poi diving in and out of the water, at least I think it's poi, it could be anyone.

Wouldn't put it past the hivers to try and catch fish with their teeth

Well, the sword is really about skill more than brute force, unless the opponent is wearing any kind of armor, but the then the sword is blah blah already discussed.

But in real-world terms, "I'mma punch you in the face, real hard, 'cause I'm strong, or just pin you" is a more practical course of action than "ooooh, you're just lucky I don't have my sword with me!"

Hey everyone. So my group has been interested in trying some new rpgs. They're newer players, and I've told them that there's things other than D&D and Pathfinder, and that's perked their interest.

So what is everyone's favorite rpg system? Some you might recommend, or ones to avoid?

Depends on what you like and what sort of game you'd be interested in. Barring a few examples (FATAL, RaHoWar, Dungeon World, etc), most rpgs have some merit to at least some people, and what's an unfun chore to you could be someone else's favorite.

I like gurps and Runequest 6 for low fantasy stuff, and Fate and Wulin for crazier, high flying stuff. I've also heard savage worlds is nice.

So, Watch_Dogs.
Setting aside the rest of the game there was at least one very interesting element, the "hacking" skills.
Infinity wargame has somethng simmilar in combat hacking.
Also I've recently seen a report of an US army exercise in which the soldiers disable the nemy team drone using an electronic rifle(in reality an antenna and a small computer capable of emmitting whatever it is that disabled the drone attached to an airsoft rifle to aid aiming).

So what I was wondering is has anyone elese thought about this idea of electronic combat/combat hacking and what kind of things you think could be done.

I'm not really looking at too much realism but I'd still like it if the concept made sense.

For example the ability to raise one those road blocking posts or change the traffic lights
makes sense to me beacuse I believe those are the kinds of things that could/are remotely controlled from a central system in a city.

On the other hand somebody blowing upa transformer/gas pipe or disabling a power armor or someones cybernetic arm remotely makes little sense to me because i don't see why someone would make something like that remotely controllable.

Anyone interested in saying a bit about what kinds of things are possible in real world using hacking/electronic warfare or a bit about how its done is also welcome to type away.

I know that its possible to send mass sms to people in certain areas I think it was used in syria by the government to scare/warn protesters before things went beyond such niceties.

I got the idea that you could send mass message to people claiming it was from the police containing pictures of your pursuers and stating they are criminals/terrorists and dangerous to create problems for them.

Alternatively you could try to shift the focus away from combat, meaning less combat, and less slog. Combat should be exciting, and DnD makes it mundane really fast since everything is trying to kill you.

We've tracked Werwolf 77 to an old farm on the outskirts of Argentina. Preliminary observation was for two months to see what they were doing, but PreCog Division is saying there's been a spike in the probability mesh. They're planning something, and whatever it it's going down now, so we're going to have to go in.

Lime Viper will circle around and approach from the back while Blue Rat sweeps upon the main storage. They won't move until we've provided adaquate cover and that cover, people, is us.

We're going in through the front.

Since this is a rush-job we don't have enough time to get proper materials in place, so we're making do with what we have on the ground.
