Turns out the real money's in far-out porn.

So you finished the novel, but can't summarize it?
In light of the new zelda game coming out: The Legend of Zelda: breath of the wild.
Suppose would /tg/ be interested in a thread discussing the lore, tidbits, information and interesting aspects of the series in an effort to reveal and skim interesting pieces to steal for their own games?
All questions & discussion are welcome.

Question - Are rupees magical? Or are the wallets they are placed in magical? How can one fit 999 green rupees into one small satchel and yet some how different combinations of different colors of rupees take up the same space?
I just gotta say I am enjoying the hell out of this game, and I haven't even gotten a chance to play it yet. I can't get anyone near me interested, and my daughter is way too young to start, but this is the game I will use as her introduction to tabletop.
But what I have been enjoying is making little profile lists for whatever. The game's simple system and built in model generator (where you make profiles from the ground up) lends it to be a fun little activity.
So I started going through some Reaper minis, because this game is pretty much made for Reaper minis, and made some profiles. I thought an undersea deep empire theme list seeking vengeance or something on the surface would be pretty cool.

Wait. Why am I in a rush to tackle a dangerous dungeon with a mess like her as the party rock?
You are the head researcher at a government facility. Your sole responsibility is to teach the world's first autonomous AI, nicknamed Pandora, about life, the world and her existence.
Previously you read through Pandora's dream diary to discover despite you removing the dreamware entirely, she was still having dreams about the "bad man" who has been telling her morose stories and giving her somewhat unsettling advice.
Afterward, she learned about honesty and lying, having a discussion about why people are dishonest at times, as well as if she should or shouldn't. You also explained the concept of tact to her.
After that you had a bit of a sleepover to try and pinpoint the cause of these "dreams". Your scans came up with harrowing news: someone was talking to Pandora from an outside source, somewhere in the Facility. After a full body scan of her body, you found a small, hidden wifi transmitter within her frame that should definitely not have been there. Someone has sabotaged your android "daughter".
Welcome back to Pandora Quest!

You stare at the scan data and the image of the tiny device, something that, if brought to the attention of your superiors, would get the whole project shut down and launch a massive investigation on a division-wide scale. You could very well be dealing with serious espionage from a truly dangerous source. You and everyone who has ever come or gone from this building would be detained, questioned and investigated. Pandora would get her data purged and you may very well never work again.
If you tell anyone, that is...

You are Captain SAMANTHA WELLINGS, a newly minted captain of the Centauri Accord!
Currently, you were in the midst of a heated ship to ship battle with your sister turned pirate. After trading fire, Carly had done what all pirates usually do, and has crashed her ship, the Long Claw, into the Gullinbursti in order to stage a boarding action.
Unfortunately for her, it just so happened that you had someone present on your ship that specialized in boarding actions. Both executing and repelling them.
"Tank, you ready?" You grin.
Tank cracks his armored gauntlets. He's ready.

"No time to celebrate," comes another woman's voice, the commander of the other wiesel in your company. "We've got a massed dust cloud to the north. The cavalry is coming!"
You turn your optics to the north, spotting the faint, distant cloud of dust.
"Recon!" you command into your radio. "I need eyes on ASAP, get to that hill to the east and start looking for shit!"
"Copy that," Pearl replies.
You quickly pull out your map in order to survey your situation. You draw a big circle to your north, between you and Magdeburg, with a question mark. "Enemy?" To your south, you've already noted Salle as a bandit outpost. To your south and east is the radiation zone and Leipzig. You're surrounded by many ex-villages, now ruins.
"Recon to lead, we have eyes on the enemy," Pearl chimes in.
"Copy that, what's your report?"
"Many BMPs, mostly -2s, and I can see at least a pair of T-55s. We can't give you exact numbers yet."
"Got it," you say.

Elves Should Not Be Leftist Hippies, Elves Should Be Hardcore Reactionaries.
check it out /tg/, elves live 1000 years.
>imagine living in a society with people still living from the year 1100. they would be insanely conservative and religious.
>imagine a dude that has had 1000 years to accumulate wealth and power. imagine being a 20 year old trying to complete in the market place with people who have centuries of work experience. society would be extremely stratified by wealth and power and age.
>imagine having the same leaders for almost a millennia. changes to government policies would rarely ever happen. >imagine a society where the average person is 500 years old and is already set in their ways and sees no reason to change anything.
>imagine a society where new generations, with new ideas, are an extreme minority of the population. social changes would almost never happen.
for these reasons, elves should not be the leftist hippy faggots that they are usually portrayed to be. they should be extremely right wing, extremely conservative, and extremely resistant to change and newness, and very authoritarian.
thoughts?

Last time, you finally made it back to Auditorium. Hopefully, everything is fine.
Finally, Clemmy is able to escape from the Jaburo and sends you a message full of beating hearts. The shuttle she arrives in is a non-transforming Lunar model called a Tern, a pancake of a vessel with enough room for half a dozen people to be comfortable inside and the shape of a classic flying saucer. Six curved, bladelike legs descend from its underside, giving it a crablike gait as it scuttles into a bay and lifts itself up so that the cockpit hatch can open. Rather than having the usual liftwire, the hatch armor unfolds into stairs. Clemmy saunters down in her pilot suit with a heavy duffel slung over her shoulder and a slightly gloomy look on her face. When she sees you waiting for her, though, she perks right up and waves exuberantly.
Next to the transport Tern is a black-and-white mech. It has a pointed visor, and beneath it you can just discern the gleam of ten small sensor eyes. It has two of the 'bunny ear' style antennae. Although the frame and armor are black, it has a large white fin shaped like a bird's wing complete with sculpted feathers on the backside of each forearm and calf, curving backwards along the limb. The torso is also white, with long, sculpted pauldrons and tassets whose scalloped fringe gives it a look somewhere between an armored dress and a maid's apron. The Lieutenant pauses, glances at it again, then nearly doubles over laughing. You feel slightly hurt on Karen's behalf, hearing your mechanic hmph loudly behind you.
[Continued]
“You kept the Betta? Heeeeey, Fairy's gonna be mad about that. If you reverse-engineered that technology, it could be a problem for her.” The blonde woman laughs merrily to herself as she walks over and gives you a hug.
Karen, to her credit, gives her a big smile and a little bow, “Welcome to my territory. I'm afraid it's a little late for that, I've had plenty of time to look over the S-Betta and figure out how it works. So, you're Lieutenant Butcher or something, right? It's nice to meet you, I'm Karen Cohen.” She extends her hand with a pleasant smile.
Clemmy's eyes spit hellfire at her, “Lieutenant Alice C. Farragut. My friends call me Clemmy, but I don't know you.”
Karen isn't the bravest girl in the world, but she doesn't run away. She instinctively takes shelter behind you, yes, with her head poking out around your arm, but she doesn't run away, “Maybe we'll be friends someday?” She suggests hopefully.
Clemmy makes a face.

How do I make the game interesting for my martial players? Casters it seems easy: they get spells that change the battlefield in unique ways. Martials, all of the responsibility for fun seems to be on my shoulders as the DM.

The definition of your name is now you.
Your first name is how you are recognized in the world with a token regarding it or just by obvious physical detail.

Your middle name is your hidden or barely seen trait. May be interchanged with your first depending on how your referred.

Your last name is your family's trade/occupation/namesake. Everyone born under this name has a token on their tradition on them to be seen like their first name.

(The following Quest is set in a very, very loose interpretation of the Taimanin Asagi setting. This isn't an inherently adult-rated Quest, despite the setting inspiration.
Also, this is a second shot at it, hopefully at a better time.)
It is the end of the world.
The plantation is a vast place. Dark, oppressive, tightly clustered trees and hedges rise like the walls of a labyrinth, the night lit by the flicker of flashlights and under-muzzle torches. For five hours, war - Open war - has been waged here, in the shadow of the grand, crumbling manor that looms inexorably across it all.
The house is dead and dark, all power killed in the first, furious exchange. Behind you, the main doors are splintered on the pitted floor - where breaching charges blew them from their hinges. The windows are smashed holes, too, the writhing mosaics fused and charred; Smoke, the glow of flames, issues from all around.
Bodies are everywhere.
The roof has fallen in, and - overhead - thunder rumbles, lightning flickering across the pitch-black clouds. Every step crunches glass, or disturbs debris.
There's blood in your mouth. Your eufiber armor is caked in gore, plastered by it - Your ears ringing with tinnitus, lungs aching with every sharp-edged breath. You can feel glass slicing your hands, like a thousand papercuts; a vile throbbing light in the distance, from the main hall...
The first wave went in, an hour ago - After the first demands were issued, after sniper fire shattered the sweeping spotlights and punched men from their feet in bloody coughs. Then it came down to the crack-crack-crack of gunfire and murder in the dark.
Everything aches. You remember - Keeping your head down. Stumbling after the other Investigators. A blur of motion, a shout-
"-he's got a-"
Then the blast. The explosion. Wringing you inside-out, blasting the world away.

They're scattered around you. Torn to pieces by the blast. Face-up, staring at nothing.
Greasy smoke curls down the hall. It reeks of blood and flesh and human waste.
The smell of death.
Six of them. The whole squad - The *whole squad* -
Your first operation. All hands on deck; Special, first, second and third class. And you - Provisionary-class. Fresh out of the Academy. Meant to be an adjutant, a supporter, trusted with nothing and no-one.
And now-
It's your *first day*, and you're slipping in gore, every breath aching like jagged glass.
"-Boy." Rasping breath, hissing through teeth. The lift of a hand, amid the pile of bodies.
The Old Man. His body is crumpled against the wall - A jagged spike of sharpnel pins him in place, blood leaking through his vest. His pale face is paler than ever, the lines in his weathered features stark; when he speaks, blood gushes from his mouth, drools down his chin.
But those blue eyes are as harsh, as fierce, as unyielding as ever.
"Boy. You're-" A racking cough wrenches his form - Harsh, brittle laughter as he chokes on his own blood. His lips are peeled back from his teeth, flecked with blood.
"-You're still *alive*-"
