I only like the Jedi. I don't care about any other aspect of Star Wars. That's why I loved the prequels and the Clone Wars.
The fact that some people hate the Jedi and Sith and can enjoy Star Wars without including those things at all is odd to me.

I like the space ships, and western feel to Star Wars (smugglers, bounty hunters, etc). I don't mind the Jedi and Sith dynamic, but the Jedi especially feel a bit overemphasized at times. The first prequel is the only one I absolutely despise. The second just bothers me because its 99% green screen CGI and 1% acting. But I liked the whole detective Obi-Wan theme. The third was the only prequel I actually think is really good.
I think the biggest issue I have with Jedi, is they sometimes feel far too... Spess muhreen. Not in armor, or weapons, anything like that. I'm talking in how they get so much focus it detracts from other aspects of the stories. The difference however is that 40k is insufferable and such shit, because it's nothing but marines and a few things to cameo as bullet catchers. Whereas Star Wars is still a lot of fun for me, because Jedi are just another part of it and not stealing the entire goddamned show.

Combat involves rolls! Once there's a clear vote winner, we roll for the move accuracy/crit/secondary effect. Usually it's just three 1d100s. Sometimes you can get a modifier from circumstances, so be creative! Add flair, do tricks with moves, mess with terrain, whatever! This is not a video game. Weak moves tend to be quicker.

Previously you managed to recruit a group of traders aboard the Beast, granting you actual income. You also decided to begin training your first group of pilots, yourself included. It's just regular flying lessons, but it's a start.
Afterward you headed to the trade guild to chat up the merchants and other members in hopes of finding out a little about the murder victim. You met Josef "Crazy Joe" Daniels, who was more than friendly, but also issued you a serious warning: don't trust anyone in the guild.
The Blue Wings, in between bouts of obvious sucking up, told you that Hueits had mysteriously closed it's borders recently and were refusing entry by any and all outsiders that weren't there on official government business.

Captain Orange is dead. The remaining members of the Red Ribbon Army have fled, and a rain has come to wash away the fires started by the foul organization.
You stand in what's left of the soldier's camp along with Goku and Krillin, both of whom are grinning at what the three of you have accomplished.
It feels really good to have your strength back, and you almost wish there were more soldiers to fight so you could catch up on all the fun you missed when you were hurt.
"So, should we tell Bulma and Oolong that we won?" Krillin asks, looking toward the jungle.
You see a pink fly buzzing around nearby, and you're pretty sure the two of them will be along any second.
Turning your attention to the plane in front of you, you wonder if Bulma can fly it. And even if she can, how are you, Goku, and Krillin going to get around? You can't all fly on the Nimbus.

"Is that door going to hold?" Ray asks, pointing at the door leading out to the rest of the complex.
"I have no idea." You say. "But I think if someone tried hard enough and had the power of a goddess, they could get through."
"Wonderful." Ray says. He pauses and looks at Gaft, slumped against the wall. "What do we do with him?"
"Do we need to do anything?" You ask.
Ray nods and points at his eyes. "I can see, he's not dead. Not yet. He is an Accepting, a full one too, he's old but his body's tough. It'll take a while for him to die."
"He's not going to try any tricks, is he?" You ask.
Ray shakes his head. "He's out cold. Body's just trying to keep alive."
You look around, and see a white box attached to the wall. The red cross marks it as a medkit.

You stabilize Gaft, pull out the bullet, and inject him with a clear substance.
Ray takes the time to put a zip tie around his wrists and ankles behind his back.
"Where'd you get those?" You ask.
"Pytor." Ray says. "Said we might need them for him. You know how he is."
You nod in agreement.
Gaft groans, and coughs. "HESTIA..."
You put a knife to his throat. "You get one chance, and that's just because everything gone off the rails. Now, talk. What do we need to do?"
He lets out a long breath. "Kill yourselves. It'd be quicker."
You roll your eye and press on his wound a little. He winces in pain, and makes a grunting noise.
"Get HESTIA to recognize Love as an enemy." Gaft says. "If you can do that, control of the facility will shift to whomever Love would place next in seniority. Most likely Wren."
You push on the wound again. "Alright! Alright!" He confesses. "It would go to me first, THEN Wren!"
"How do we get HESTIA to see Love as an enemy?" You ask.
Gaft gasps. "Either have her put Time in direct danger, or..." He chuckles. "Or have Misery tax Love's body enough that the parasite burns through it.
"But that means facing her, and you may be a murderous psychopath...but you don't have any chance against Love." He chuckles.
Ray stuffs a wad of cloth into Gaft's mouth and wraps a bandage around it. "I'll ungag him if we need him. So...now what?"
“Well…that depends on how much we’re willing to risk.” You say. “We could wait until she’s inside here.”
“The orange lady does seem to take it unkindly if people open up the young lady’s tube.” Ray says.
Both of you get on your walkie-talkies. “Anything that can help?”

The frog monster, encased in its gigantic, slimy bubble, grins at you both as it approaches, somehow swimming through it and yet moving the bubble forward. This thread appears to be dying, so let's give it a bit of CPR (hopefully). Favorite system and why. Can be as a GM, player, whatever.
As a player, I like Black Crusade because I'm a total asshole, but sometimes do stuff that is really stupid and occasionally amazing. And in BC that always feels so much more fun.
As a GM, I like Only War because it's much easier to control the game without railroading

Dark Heresy 2, but with the full armoury of all others (except the more heretical stuff).
You can do almost anything in it as a GM, from locating xenos to fighting of cultists and daemon incursions (with a little help) to declaring an exterminatus.
As a player, you can play almost any character you want, and feel a great sense of freedom with roleplaying. (the original (dh2E with no mods) can be a bit underwhelming in the weapons department though).
