As someone who has played a little bit of Rage of Demons, I wouldn't mind running it with my gang. I like how it seems less rail roaded like previous ones.
I'm a relatively new player. I've been playing for a bit over a year now. I'm in a group that runs 2e and 5e. How do you guys feel about 5e in comparison to previous editions of D&D? On one hand, I really like how streamlined it is compared to 2e, but on the other hand I feel a bit more restricted when it comes to character options. 2e feels more logical to me, while 5e feels more intuitive.

Personally, I think it should have it at base, but fair enough. x3 for unarmed is probably too strong, but...eh. Alchemicals always had that weird line where some stuff was directly solar comparable, if slightly more pricey, and whatnot.
And...it's been a rather shitty week for a lot of reasons. So yes, I went into that needlessly antagonistic and angry at....well, nothing, really, so my apologies on that.

I noticed it too believe me, but 3x threshold was far too potent for 3e, and I wanted some progression sense, so I basically made it an add on.
And yes, Alchemicals tended to be a bit more potent than other Celestials (At least comparing to errata sidereals, I don't count Lunars as they're fucked) but a tiny bit under Solars in nearly everything.
And don't worry about it man. We all have shitty times.

So I bought into the Dropfleet Commander kickstarter and since my friends play Dropzone commander, I figured I would look into it too. How do the Scourge play and what's a good way to start collecting them?
So lets say someone in Shadowrun invented the mediguns and their respective ÜberCharges, as well as Über canteens. Would they be any good in Shadowrun's setting? How valuable would they be?
'Uber' and overhealing are such weird, 'gamey' concepts that they wouldn't fit in Shadowrun, IMO. You're just invincible/overhealthy because Science.
If you strip those off of a medigun, though, you're left with just a short-ranged stream of constant healing, which is basically the same thing as a Savior Medkit nano-injection, but giant and obvious, so it wouldn't be very valuable.

Uber is dicey but the overhealing could just fluffed as being so full of painkilling stimulants or medical nanites or other si-fi medical thingamagigs that you shrug off a couple shots before even feeling them.

The trouble is that so much of the game is on a game-by-game basis that it's difficult to discuss.
Can't really do army lists like Warhams or the like because you'll be changing them according to Strategies, Schemes and opponents, and the plays you make each turn will depend upon your hand at the time.
For discussion though, as a Neverborn player is there anything I should be looking to grab from the Crossroads book?

Noriko’s eyes focus on your hand as you offer it to help her from her prone position, but she does not take it immediately. She stares fixated upon it like you’re offering her some divine gift, and she looks away as her blush deepens. In the span of a mere few moments she began to dart her gaze between your outstretched hand and the nearby ground; unsure of how to react.
You can tell that this is due to how nervous she’s been getting around you as of late; perhaps accelerated due to her confession practice from earlier. She gingerly outstretches her slender, delicate fingers up to meet your hand, and grasps it gently in her own. It’s different; to say the very least to be treated with this degree of gentleness from anybody. There’s a certain pleasure in the sensation, but you do not allow yourself to linger upon these thoughts.
“Th’surprise is mutual, but ‘is nice t’see ya, though.” With a smile you tighten your grip around her hand, as such a light handle would do no good to actually pull her up with, and help her up. She returns the smile while her grip tightens slightly as well; you can feel the warmth of her action is different from your own. “I weren’t expectin’ ta see you neither. Th’hell you comin’ -back- ta school fer?”
“Oh, that is-to say…” Her eyes seem to warm as she is pulled back unto her feet, and her eyes transfix for a few moments upon your still-joined hands. While you’ve releases all pressure from her hand, you find it still being grabbed onto and rubbed slightly by your senpai’s own fingers in a tender, loving fashion. It seems to take her a second to realize what she’s doing, but she eventually lets go and tucks her hands behind her back in embarrassment. “I-I-I-I’m not coming back! I-I-I was w-waiting for Usui! H-he said he w-was going to meet m-me at the g-gate here!...”

“Oh! U-Usui-kun? I-I thought w-we’d seen him out here e-earlier, r-right? Chitose-sama?” Souichi speaks up nervously from behind you, finally making his own presence known to Noriko. Her body stiffens rigidly in shock once she notices him; probably further embarrassed that somebody other than yourself seen her acting like she was. Souichi nudges you with a ridged smile across his lips, as though wanting to skirt around what you had -just done- to the boy she was waiting for. He was obviously feeling guilty to be dealing with his older sister so soon after you’d begun to ‘teach’ him his lesson.
“Y-y-yeah! Usui s-said he w-w-wanted to come with him!” Noriko responds as she ducks her head down and her gaze shifts solidly towards the earth below her; unable to bring herself to give either of you delinquents eye-contact anymore. Her face is as red as a cherry, and her body fidgets in an incredibly nervous manner. Her heart must be going a million miles an hour… “He w-wanted to show m-me something!”

I used to have this partner, and he had a car. It's mine now and I've had it forever. It has a 90s tape deck, and a tape is stuck in there. I've been listening to it on virtually every assignment. It isn't bad, in fact it's mostly classics. But I can't listen to it in every day life, it just puts me in that mindset, and it's not good to carry that around when you're trying to seem like a civilian. To be a civilian.
But when on assignment, that tape has been a life raft. I caught my new colleague humming along the other day. He didn't know he was doing it, it was just a small expression of sanity in a mad moment. Fuckin' hell! I wonder if I do that, too. Humming along without being aware of it...
