The story so far: Anon is a member of the Calloway Military Academy's Elite Monster-Hunting SpecOps team. The school is currently being invaded by a horde of ancient zombies that cannot be killed by conventional weapons. Your personally assigned escortee, Sibella Dracula, has come to you to plead for aid, telling you a story that a witch named Revolta is responsible, and that she has abducted the other monster-girls from the Grimwood Finishing School for Ghouls. Anon is a bit suspicious if Sibella is telling the truth or if she's a mole sent by Revolta herself.

Anon is packing a hidden wooden stake in his jacket, two clips of ammo (one silver, one regular), and has just recently facilitated the production of special natron-salt rounds that should be able to kill the zombies permanently. The cadets of the school have taken some casualties but now they might just have a fighting chance.

It is suspected that the zombies are just a first wave to soften the school up before Revolta arrives personally. There's something or someone here that she's looking for.

Looking for guidance, you've decided to take Sibella to meet with Col. Calloway, the headmaster of the school. As expected you've found him holed up in the central Administration building, along with the largest group of students seeking refuge from the zombie swarm outside.

As you walk down the office halls, Sibella a step behind you, you see that the school has taken on the atmosphere of a wartime bunker under constant shelling. There are cadets posted at every entrance with their standard-issue rifles at the ready and everyone is tense, waiting for the defenses to inevitably break. A couple of times the guards stop you on your way to the Colonel's office but a flash the special pin at your collar, an eye set inside a triangle, the mark of the elite SpecOps class, reminds them of your special rank and they allow you to pass even with Sibella in tow.

Finally you reach the inner sanctum of Col. Calloway, and find your mentor there directing troop placements around the perimeter and the construction of an expeditionary task force for the purpose of retrieving any students lost out in the greater campus. but all that is put aside when he sees you've arrived.

"About time you turned up, cadet. What do you have to report?" he snaps, clearly on edge. "It'd better be good news."

"Well, we have more information than we did anyway. That's about as far as good goes though."
"Looks like this witch name of Revolta kidnapped Tanis, the mummy girl for access to her Book of the Dead for whatever reason. She might be looking for a way to access the Land of the Dead."
"Her spider-bats tried to brain-wash Sibella here. We can assume they tried the same with the other girls. Whether the other girls besides Tanis are strictly necessary or a bonus I don't know."
"However she wouldn't be bothering with the Academy if she didn't need it or something here. Whether it's because of ley-lines or what have you or an artifact in your collection...that's beyond me."
"What I do know is I need non-lethal ways to subdue the girls, rather hard, if they are mind-controlled. Or a way to snap them out of it."
"I could also use some advice on how to take care of Revolta herself without actually killing her."
"The spider-bats might also be leading or rather guiding the zombies. One of them chewed through a lockbox and stole the Jekyll serum from the lab. If that was to keep it out of our hands or she wants to use it for some reason I don't know. The spider-bats, not the zombies."
>If he says anything
"Sir, should I really be sugar-coating things right now?"

>Also, if he asks why we don't necessarily want to kill her.
"I'd rather not send her anywhere she's trying to be, seems like it'd cause more trouble than it's worth."

We aren't very good with handling Nobility.

Granted, this is a strange sentence coming from a group of people best described as "Shady Dicks in Space with Power", but I bet you 2000 Gelt that you've never heard nor seen of another person or persons who can manage to get over three thousand nobles killed outside of the Inquisition, and get away with it.

Yes, you can stop rolling your eyes at me, just sit the fuck down and listen.

We were in dock at a Shipyard based out of some Hiveworld with one of those throne-awful names that makes it sound like a depressing deathtrap of a world, but is actually pretty nice if you'll look past all the Tau propaganda being blasted at us from a planet away. Yes, it was one of those frontier conflict sub-sectors stuck between a bunch of blue assholes on one side of the imaginary line and an army of Ordo Xenos Inquisitors and Stormtroopers and whatnot threatening to send everybody to their little inquisitorial prison camps on the other.

Wasn't a nice situation to be in, and I reckon a whole bunch of the natives on the planet also realized that, because day in and day out we would get people coming up to us asking to be accepted onboard. Seeing as how we were short on crew, we picked up a whole lot of them that could find their way around a ship, and kicked out the rest that didn't know jackshit about Space beyond the fact that it's dark and you die if you don't wear warm clothing out there. I shit you not, that was the response of one of those buggers when I asked him what he knew about Space.

Anyway, that wasn't the main part. The main reason we were in dock was for the conversion of a sizable section of the ship, mostly Crew Quarters and a few sections next to them that weren't used for much other than collecting dust or for smuggling, whether of the cargo kind or the people kind, into Luxury Quarters.

Yes, yes, I know what you're thinking. Us? A Rogue Trader and his group of Officers armed with too much explosives and too little sense actually doing something nice for the crew? Yes, I was surprised at first when Jarron and the drunken mess of a man I'm supposed to call a Seneschal came up with the plan, but, you see, the crew was practically in a state of constant revolt. We'd be lucky if we got any of them to shut the fuck up about the week's latest cause for complaint and get right the hell to work, and we couldn't put into dock without half the crew deserting because their quarters are apparently supposed to be worse than even the hab blocks in the Lower Hive.

You ask me? I can't tell the fucking difference between the two. Then again, I'm supposed to be a walking talking extra-emotionless vending machine. Not sure where they got that impression, since even if I am a Tech-Priest and half my body is made of metal doesn't mean I've suddenly turned into a servitor with extra functions. Infact, my dick hasn't even been replaced with an impact wrench yet. I think, anyway, not actually sure. I'll have to check next time I'm alone.

But, onto matters aside, the fact that we were converting a decent portion of the ship into luxurous quarters turned quite a few ears. Some asshole that we haven't got around to shooting yet decided to leak the news, and within days an entire cascade of fuckers with pockets overflowing with Gelt showed up politely asking us for transport to a nearby pleasure planet for a holiday cruise. Or, to translate it to Low Gothic, "Here is a huge box full of gold, get us the fuck off this planet."
>>
Presented with this much money, we accepted. Which in hindsight was a bad idea, but at the time we didn't realize just how many fucking people were there. It wasn't just the Nobles, since if then we could've handled it, even if a planet named "Necrosseus" somehow had a bigger than average count of stuck-up assholes. Since most of them had no intent of returning to this hellhole of a planet with a name that sounds like a disease on the frontline of a territorial conflict with the Tau, they brought with them their retainers and servants, topping out at 7081 heads, counting the one two-headed freak that we were paid extra amounts of gold to ignore.

Remember this 7081 figure. Because we're going to manage to get most, if not all, of them killed.

Our ship was quite big, but the max we could stick onboard was around 25,500 before the life support machines started chugging and getting pissed, so that was 7000 toadies uselessly lounging around wasting space and enjoying the fruits of our labor that is non-toxic air and a ship that's not threatening to break apart and vent all the air into the void because we hit an asteroid, along with about twelve thousand crew, keeping in mind we were understaffed at the time and the mass-conscription on the planet at the time was really putting a damper on our attempts to recruit more crew.
>>
Naturally, they took up the luxury quarters. All of it. Normally we could've fit tens of thousands of crewmembers into those quarters comfortably, but the space demands of these nobles were ridiculous, with some even taking entire rooms just so they could store their luggage, and the servants and retainers weren't any better, since they were taking advantage of their noble patron to get as much as they could possibly get before we just flat out said "No." and used a hammer to nail the point in.

And naturally, the crew were PISSED. They were promised luxury quarters that were promptly taken up by these snotty head-up-ass types, then shunted to the corridors and their respective compartments. Remember, the Crew Quarters were turned into these luxury quarters that were used up by said nobles, and after the tenth assault charge and two crew deaths due to overzealous House Guards, we had to put a stop to it and tell the crew to stop interacting with the nobles and just camp in the hallways or something, which did nothing to improve the situation.

Throwing money at the situation didn't help, and we had a deadline to achieve, so we resigned ourselves to having to deal with the crew and left port.

As you can imagine, the crew weren't very glad or productive, and by day four I was resorting to threatening to start shooting people with my bolter if they didn't work just to get anything done. And by day five, mutiny.

Anyone interested in playing a Napoleonic Era GURPS game? I'll GM if there's enough interest.

Maybe even an earlier era pirates game?

I'm pretty open to how the players want to go about exploring the world of late 18th century Europe.

Military campaigns? Naval? Escaped Prisoners? Let me know what you fellow neck/leg beards want, I'm open to suggestions.

I'd like to request a female genasi swashbuckler/swordsage. She's an air genasi with almost pure white skin and hair, but she's not an albino as her eyes are blue. She wears a simple loose outfit for mobility consisting of a blue top and bottom with a trailing loincloth in the back. She wears knee-high boots which end around her ankle and gloves ending at the wrist. She also decorates her skin with swirling pale blue war paint which goes in long lines around her body. Weapon of choice are two long, elegant elven swords and she fights in an unnaturally quick and precise manner.

Would be awesome if someone could take a stab at this as she's an NPC in our D&D game at the moment and possibly the DM's waifu but that's okay

Might as well jump in here first with my request for the Corp I'm playing in a Cyberpunk game.

Pic related more or less sums up everything, with the exception being the fact that the character is Japanese. Though if one wanted to show the chipware socket on her neck, that would be neat (It's just with the hair I can see that being somewhat difficult so don't feel as if it's necessary). Chipware sockets more or less just look like a series of metal slits in the neck to insert chipware in to, pretty simple.

Thank you in advance if anyone takes the time to draw this, and of course if any more information is needed, by all means, ask.

Requesting a plagued/diseased angel woman(Can be just the face if wings make the pic too big for details. If wings are included, she has molting, drab feathers. Blue eyes if colored, tan where not discolored by disease. Long, dark hair.

No evil expressions, she's a symbol of how not all goodness has to be beautiful.

Wide coverage by sores and/or peeling, flaky skin without getting into zombie style appearance.

Thanks to any drawfriends who take an interest!

Welcome to A Song of Revenge and Gold: House Malroy Quest. In which you take the reins of a House of storied glorious past since Aegon’s Conquering, but whose fortunes have taken a turn for the worse in the doom that Robert’s Rebellion brought. Taking place in 284AC a year after the Rebellion has ended you are Brynden Malroy, second son to Lord Vamos Malroy and Lady Esemella Hayford and the last living heir to Steadhold and House Malroy.

House Malroy is a pre-genned House designed around the idea of a story within the Crownlands of a House fiercely loyal to the Targaryens and their attempts to live in this new world after Robert’s Rebellion. The new Lord Brynden Malroy is as well pre-genned but will take direction from the players in his ways and how he develops himself further. This Quest will be moderately more story driven than others of its kind, but the development of the House and her lands will take just as much importance.

If you’ve played the one of the many Quests within the ASoIaF setting the rules of the SIFRP system should be known. I will be using the Game of Thrones edition, as well as a few of the expansions namely OOSP and a few house rules which will be explained as we come to them. If you have questions about how things work or why certain actions are taken I can explain them as we go along. In truth this is a learning experience for me as well.

Her note had been short, a simple invitation with directions through Sunspear’s winding streets. You kept your profile low, unlikely you were the only Lord about the city but not about the back alleys and dark pathways you now found yourself. Your hair was hidden beneath your cloak, a cloth over your mouth hid the silver in your beard, only your eyes remained to give away your identity, emerald orbs reflecting the heavy sun of Dorne. Sweat pooled upon your forehead, you cursed the warmth and wished for lighter clothing, perhaps you could find something suitable later, sandsilk would feel wonderful now. you shake the thoughts. Refocus on the task. Obella’s name sat upon your lips and you mind began to wander, her sweet songs, the taste of her lips, the pleading begging voice that told you of things that made little and less sense. And now… She wished to see you in secret despite being a lady of the court, she need not call upon you to some winesink in a twisted alleyway unless…

You stop a moment, watching a street peddler haggle with a dark skinned man over a skin, but your mind was elsewhere. No. Dontos would be furious. It was bad enough that the seamstress’s daughter potentially had your child in her belly, but a Noblelady? You had hardly stepped into Dorne. And what would Lord Arryn say? This could cause a rift beyond measure, Lord Qorgyle was a dear friend of Prince Oberyn, and one of his most ardent supporters. Simple disregard, passionate heat, that could ruin talks of peace. It could ruin you.
>>
Beginning to walk again you check the directions provided and find yourself before an assumingly taphouse upon the second wall of Sunspear. Entering you find a young man dressed in simple leathers, a sword at his side, and an older woman, her face pinched and weathered. She gives you a once over and scrunches her face up before nodding to the young man. He approaches you, roughly your own height, and he looks at you with a defiant gaze, his eyes meeting your own and a small smirk forms on his face, “It’s him nan.”

You return the gaze, confused when he speaks. The elder woman gnaws on her gums and waves the boy off, and picks at your hand, “Follow.”

She leads you through what you now see to be a brothel, seedy as they come, you had seen pleasure houses not unlike this in Essos, a few in King’s Landing as well. There was a certain dornish flair, the smell of incense mixed with the heat of the summer day reminding you further of Obella’s tent. A small corner is dedicated to a bar with various inhabitants that hardly pass you a glance, a group of three look like they’re sellswords with a smaller one eyeing you a moment before calling for another drink. The idle playing of a bard catches your ears, a song you did not know. You reach a secluded room and the elder woman points for you to enter with a wordless command and having little other choice you obey.

The room is decorated sparsely, candles light the dark room with a bed of some comfort, the walls are covered with silks and on a table before you is a decanter filled with a red wine, two glasses filled already. You walk about the room and place a hand over your breast, a dirk resting there and you give it a shake, loosening it from the scabbard, your hand brushing Isis’ braid while doing so.
>>
Fingering at the bed’s sheets your mind remains still for once not turning to idle thoughts but focus, this felt off to you. A voice behind you startles makes you turn on your heel and allow your eyes to rest upon a face you did not know, matched to a voice and body you did.

“Lord Blackshaft,” she says with a devilish smile. Her dark blue eyes drink in your own, the pools of black rippling where the light catches them. You hadn’t seen her without her mask before, the black carapace so reminiscent of the Qorgyle’s scorpions. Her features are sharp, a stark contrast to the softness of her eyes and lips. Above her left eye is a scar that cuts into her neat eyebrows just enough to mar the otherwise beautiful visage.

“Lady Scorpion, a pleasure,” you respond you voice turning to velvet, “Less than pleasurable circumstances. I had thought us done meeting in dark places.”

Her lips twist and she walks towards you, a swaying stride that you attempt to keep your eyes from. Her hands whisk the glasses of wine and she swings her body into your own, pressing the glass to your hand and removing the other from the dirk upon your chest, “A choice of necessity my Lord. There are far too many ears and eyes in the Old Palace.”

“And a shady winesink is a better place for a Lord with my…”

“Reputation?” she smiles again and presses the glass to her lips.

“Erm… Yeah. Reputation. To be found. Particularly among the company of a Lady of Dorne.”

So last thread we entered the valley, made some slings to carry the delicious berries that are fucking everywhere (for now), crossed a great river and made it to the top of of a rocky outcropping with a ruined temple and a cellar at the top, and we added a nice log roof to the temple.

So, after looking at the last thread here's how things will work: You have 2 rolls total per turn. Those rolls can be dedicated between Actions (d20) and Researches (d100) depending on what you guys want to do. I'll roll for everything after a consensus is made and then write it up.

I'll follow this post with the dedication of the temple, which you guys decided to be done with a wrestling competition and an orgy. So yea fun stuff.
>>
You decide to dedicate the temple to Tauros through a series of wrestling bouts between your bulls. A section of the campground is cleared of the overgrown stones that still litter the area as an impromptu arena. Your females begin be marking stones with various symbols, with each symbol having two rocks marked with it. The bulls draw lots with the two bulls with matching stones being each others opponent. The fighting is fierce, limbs are twisted, bodies are thrown, and the forest echos with the cheers of the herd. At the end of the contests, each victorious male is chosen by a female, who then head into the temple to consummate.

In the morning, rays of sunlight pierce through the openings of the wooden roof and shine upon your females. It is decided that this is a sign from Tauros himself, and that your females are now pregnant and will give birth next Spring.

The herd wishes to celebrate but there is too much work to be done in your new home.

In a blink more than a week had passed. You were starting to get used to be surrounded by your personnel and living in such corridors. The sight of armed people was now common, even the lowliest techpriests was now carrying a combat knife and a laspistol with the necessary trigger training to become efficient enough with the use of such weapons.

After you had deal with the dispute between the two ranks of the Mechanicus and erased any kind of discord the harmony started to return to the daily life. There was an overall change of mentality among those people, something that they were completely unused to after years of monotone study and repetitive schedules. They were even starting to make small supervised fights between them after their classes and work were done, a sanctioned fight club.

Slowly you dragged yourself out of your bathtub, feeling somewhat annoyed at the fact that you couldn’t fit inside anymore. You would have to order the construction of one with greater dimensions. Walking with a firm and steady step you reached the Command Bridge and saw the usual people working in their usual positions. All was fine.

Despite the fact that Khorne started lifting weights when Magnus said "Survival of the fittest," implies that the writer doesn't really get the scientific use of the phrase, this was probably one of my favorite episodes so far. Very well done.

wouldn't misunderstanding science be the most 40k thing he could do though?

You are Captain Kusajishi Riku, a high-ranking shinigami currently posing as a Japanese high-school student. While your classmates are caught up in grades and teenaged drama, you are here to figure out why Karakura town has become such a hotbed of spiritual activity.

One factor is certainly what your zanpakuto's “mother” told you last night when you met, which is that Karakura is currently a Jūreichi, or a region in the living world with an unusually high concentration of spiritual matter and energy. But that cannot explain all of what you've seen here.

“I thought you said you were going to explain what Ichigo and Rukia have been doing?” Tatsuki asks as you approach the abandoned hospital where locals are gathering to watch filming of some stupid TV medium's show.

You take out your phone, checking the coordinates listed by the Research Bureau's coordinators. Yup, this is the place alright. “I never said that. It's easier to show you than to explain. Now hold still.”

“Kyokko,” you whisper, wrapping light around yourself and erasing your spiritual presence. “Tenkotsuki, can you do the same for the girl?”

There's a brief silence.

“Tenkotsuki?”

“I can,” she eventually responds. “But it will take my sole focus.”

“I don't think that's an issue,” you admit silently. “It's just a demi-hollow. Even if it hollowfies I can just punch it to death.”

“Very well,” Tenkotsuki replies as she extends your own kidō just far enough to cover Tatsuki as well.

“Stay close,” you remind Tatsuki. “I'm using a spell to keep us both hidden, but it's not designed to be used like this.”

“A spell?” Tatsuki asks skeptically.

You shrug. “My family runs a shrine, remember?”

“I guess that makes sense,” Tatsuki frowns, struggling briefly with the logic before giving up and accepting your statement at face value.

You walk right past the crowd, which has assembled at the gate to the hospital, completely unseen. Tatsuki glances around, realizing that the two of you are now invisible.

“Amazing,” she comments, waving a hand in front of one of her classmates.

Her classmate looks up in confusion as you clap a hand over Tatsuki's mouth and drag her off.

“They can still hear you,” you hiss. “That's why I told you not to mess around.”

“Sorry,” she mutters.

Now, you need to decide exactly how you're going to do this.

>Search the building for the demi-hollow and wait there
>Find that "Don Kanonji" guy, keep an eye on him
>Follow Ichigo and Rukia, try your best to resist messing with them

Memes aside, how do you actually feel about Elves and Elf-life races?

I feel pretty good about elves. Thank you for asking.
>>
I dislike the stereotypical player who gravitates towards elves. Not the actual players, mind you, but that vague stereotype of the arrogant douchebag looking for an excuse to play an arrogant douchebag.

That said, I love elves. Most people I actually play with who play elves are good folk, and there's something uniquely charming about their design.
>>
Not really excited but anything interesting in their background is appreciated. Particularly if it takes 'accepted' elf traits and manipulates them into something that makes sense in setting and feels fresh enough.
