Have you ever made a campaign where the PCs literally did not matter in the grand scheme of things, or if they did their accomplishments were never acknowledged by the outside world?
Have you ever made a campaign where the opposite was true? Where the PCs did great things and you made an effort to let them know their efforts were seen as the stuff of heroes and legend?

This cyoa is a bit perverted but interesting however it seems to have issues in the Journey department and is a little unclear on wording here and there.

Mostly in the area of Journeys.
* You can't take a 5 and 4 month journey because there are no 3 month journeys to make up 1 year.
* You can't complete free the slaves in 1 year and repay the money as the only other mission you can take is the Lost Treasure one.
These could probably be solved if you could take longer then 1 year to do Journeys till you accrued enough cash to pay off your debt.
Contradictions come in the form of saying choose your orphan and yet there is at least 1 Journey that requires 2 orphans, which would mean you can buy more then 1 orphan at start or you must take a mission that rewards an orphan which is impossible to complete in the 1 year limit.

You wake up the next morning troubled, wondering about your encounter with the strange nameless assassin. You hope to encounter him again, after all you are interested in developing control over temporal powers yourself, and his help could be invaluable.
Also you wonder if he was the only assassin sent after you, Kulrathe, Breaker and Garrax all faced off against small armies, why only a single assassin for you?
Wrapped in your arms and tentacles, the Rainyas stir and wake, one kissing you sleepily on the cheek “Morning Shee” she murmurs, only partly awake.
“Morning Rainya” you respond, kissing her back in a distracted way, still puzzled about last nights encounter.
Upon rising and starting breakfast, you find a letter, an actual paper letter, laid on the table, scrawled on the outside of the envelope in what looks like Gambons writing is “found this in the kitchen at closing time”. It's addressed to you.
You give it a quick once-over with your senses both magical and mundane but it doesn't seem dangerous.
You open it. The letter reads:
-You have impressed me, I offer you help in claiming your Hive in your own name. If you wish to meet then use the address below to set a time and a place and I will send a representative to explain.-
The letter is unsigned, but smells faintly of unwashed animal, and blood.
The letter lists a comm address that can only accept text messages. You've seen these before – a favourite of criminals due to their temporary nature and being nearly impossible to trace when the account-holder retrieves the messages.

Yamcha and Bulma smile and give a little cheer as their daughter enters, wearing her usual martial arts outfit, modeled after her father's, with a curious and somewhat oversized red cape.

The man, who you've considered your enemy ever since his experiments into hollowfication afflicted both yourself and your now-wife Shihōin Yoruichi with the dangerous condition, seems to have been killed overnight under unknown circumstances. The Lieutenants of the Gotei 13, barring Iba and Kotetsu whom you've sent in search of specialists to help handle the unfolding situation, talk among themselves. Lieutenant Hinamori is quietly sobbing at this point, having been unusually attached to Aizen. She's stated that she blames you for the murder, and has revealed to the other Lieutenants that you were a Sternritter in your past life.
“It's true,” you mutter to Rangiku as she kneels next to you, “this could very well be the result of a Heilig Pfiel. In fact, I'm almost certain it is. But to my knowledge no quincy alive could do this to Aizen without anyone else realizing it.”
“I can't see me going that quietly,” your daughter agrees quietly. “And Aizen was supposedly stronger than me? I don't buy it.”
You shake your head as you rise to your feet. “We'll see what the examination reveals. When Unohana comes back and tells me that Aizen's dead, I'll believe it.”
Now, the question remains: how do you address what Hinamori has revealed to the Lieutenants? At the time you brushed her off rather than trying to deny it, and so it must already seem to their minds that it's true. But you haven't even considered that an issue yourself for more than a century, or perhaps ever given the fact that the one who killed Rosa is now your wife. If you had ever held a grudge from back then, something like that could never have happened.
In fact, you might not even have lived this long.

Hi everyone! I'd like to start a drawthread if that's okay. I realize there's one already up but these are for specific requests of a specific type, and I don't want to clutter up someone else's thread.
That said, a few rules to start with!
1. Only one character. Just one!
2. No characters from quests. This is to stop the usual glut of characters being asked for more and more art, let's give other people a chance!
3. I'll do requests chronologically, and will try to do everyone else's (my target is 50 for tonight). If I skip yours for some reason, I apologize in advance, please don't take it personally!
4.) When a waifu is already drawn, all succeeding requests of the same waifu will be ignored.

What creatures would you like to see in a Fifth Edition Fiend Folio?
I'm starting a 5th edition campaign for some friends that are new to roleplaying games, but really keen. Most have picked their characters already (Dwarf Paladin, Gnome Wizard, Halfling Assassin, and a Goblin Druid), but the last one really wants to try a Beastmaster Ranger.
I've heard nothing but bad things about BM rangers- is it true they suffer compared to the other classes? Is there an easy way to fix what deficits they have?

Their focus is far to focused, relying on far heavier setup to be successful and the animal companion they have eats up their actions.
Wizards has said they may (which means most likely will) do a redo of the Ranger where the animal companion is a core feature and the class abilities aren't as focused.

So, Konata's posts in the last thread got me thinking. Jumpers, none of you are going to quit. We know that. But there's a factor outside of your control - the Benefactor. So what would you do if she stopped playing? She gives you one last Jump, anywhere you want, just for old time's sake - but then you get to stay or go home.

Sam's there too, though she's just sitting quietly beside the Admiral, a smug smirk on her face. You and Johnston sit down immediately, while Portland has to be prompted to sit down with some help from Heerman, her mind still shattered from her sudden "promotion".
"T-Task force leader for Taffy 3..." She mumbles with a mixture of disbelief and horror. Mostly horror.
"Excuse me?" The Captain turns.
"Oh, it's nothing!" You say cheerfully, covering up Portland's funk. "She's just tired!"

I like the sandstone, but the red camo/markings doesn't work imo.
For camo it's too sporadic, for markings, they're not painted cleanly enough. If you were going for camo I'd switch to a medium brown instead and add the pattern all over the armor. If you were going for marking I recommend going back over them with your sandstone base and sharpening the edges until they look like the tau alphabet.Personally not a fan of the blue plasma noodles, though I like the rest of the scheme. Something a little more neutral would look better. Your reddish brown from the Tau symbols or a simple black would look better imo.

Generally members of religious orders, such as the Order of the Circle and the Vigilants of Stendarr, or private NGO groups like the Order of Virtuous Blood and Dawnguard. Their goal is to eradicate supernatural entities, often daedra, for either pay or in the case of the some of the larger groups, on a pro bono basis if the threat is sever enough.
Their expertise in these matters makes them extremely dangerous, as they are accustomed to dealing with threats far more sever than the average militant would be, making them valuable as soldiers and guards in addition to their other skills.
They'd likely have exceptional skill in tracking, hunting, and identifying magical residues as a result of their line of work, and likely know a litany of folk lore and myths, and will have no doubt picked up the finer points of the alchemical arts.
