there is something that feels bad when shooting down a troll or a dragon with revolvers and rifles.
Which are some monsters that would look cool in a late XIX century america setting? I don't mind they're accurate mythically or not, but I'd like things that are fun to shoot at.(I can't believe you we're gonna say Indians, anon. You're sick)

Werewolves?
Werewolves and vampires have been done. How about some kind of troll or bog monster for some musketmen to slog through the marshes to hunt.

Keep trying. We are out there, but most give up after some awful experiences.
I gave up on online GMing for a year after I got two groups back to back who flaked on the first session. All of them.

What makes a good GM/player varies from person to person. All you can do is keep trying until you find someone who fits. I've never flaked on a game in my life, but I have left countless ones. I've met tons of people who love my GMing, and just as many who've run away trailing a cloud of insults.
Part 2 of an ongoing quest
You are a party consisting of Colonial marine number 12672 (CMN), a big tiddied predator huntress (BTP) and a xenomorph waifu lady that was seduced by the marine (LXW)
You're in a bit of a pickle. Stuck in an alien hive and with BTP being impregnated facehugger style just there now you have a few options to start:

Imperial guard or space marines.
1) Don't.
2) It got worse while you were gone.
3) Unless you have an army of Wave Serpents.
Can we gather some small dungeons so we can print them and have them prepared for running games at anytime? Not full modules, I'd prefer small, evocative things that can be modified through play
DW's dungeon starters are also fine for me.
Micro modules are nice, for mining ideas if nothing else
