I've passed last 2 weeks studying a campaign for Pathfinder
Pretty standard setting with nothing special, stealing ideas here and there.
I manage to form a group with Game Finder players.
Everyone has got their sheets and we're ready to go
After 2 hours we're into it, one of the players (call him good player) leaves, but then explains he has a family urgency the day after.
I believe him since we spent a lot working on his character and he seems to like my way of GMing, but he can't stand two other player going full powerplay and repeating rulebook...

That's how finding groups online works mate. You keep sifting through shit, keeping the good players until you have a full group.
Then again, you should make sure everyone are on the same page before you start a campaign. A player should know that a game isn't text only, and the general gist of the setting so that he wouldn't leave the moment he sees it. That was your fuck up.
Now, it's always possible you're also just a shit DM, but that's impossible to tell from the information...

Players who actually play usually like me, of course I can't give you any proof in a 4chan thread.
I supposed it was obvious since in the Game Finder post I mentioned roll20+skype voice call.
Any suggestion on how to read players? I try to ask them a couple question, but they always do the same answers "Yeah very serious here i like the game of where you play the role not le rolls" but then are always a bunch of murderhobos

Focus on what KIND of campaign you want to run, what sort of mood, is it dark and serious, upbeat and silly? Silly and dark? And so on.
Be specific with what kind of players you need, how long and how often they need to be available and any other relevant info, like voice vs text, time zones, minimum session length, rules for being absent, what system to use etc.
Kick people who don't obey the rules. The good players will see that they don't have to put up with disruptive players for long...

I don't even know what to think about it, but it's good news for Chaos players... i guess.

Hey guys, I need your help here. I have this roleplaying game going on and I'd need a image to represent my character (we're playing online most of the time so an image is nice).
The game take place in the Naruto universe, in a place far away from where we know the manga story (the story from the manga or anime doesn't affect our game at all). The players are in a three man squad and the GM is the team captain (who never helps in combat, talk about a captain :P).
A little of the backtory of the character might help figuring what I'm looking...

The character is a 16 years old male from the described clan. Having developped his ''seeing skill to an unexpected level, he is the ''eyes'' of his team and a huge part of the sensory devision of the village. He's been lonely his entire life, his parents disapearing from his life at a young age (ninja life), he's not good socializing with others. Somewhere in the future, I want to run a solo campaign about Byzantine/Romanelvesas a sort of "prequel" to a campaign I'm running right now. This game would also include a few battles with the PC acting as some sort of centurion, commanding a small group of men as we zoom in on a small portion of the battle field.
The system that will be used for most of the game is D&D 5e. Is there a way to do the above with it? If not, what system could be used exclusively for these battles in some two-system hybrid monstrosity game?

DnD can't do mass battles without it being 90% DM rolling dice against themself or just straight up fiat.
Look at how Fate or Savage Worlds does mass battles.

I'm running a game with byzantine elves present.
They never shut the fuck up about being superior to everyone, how ossum their empire was ruling the known world and how their capital is the city of the worlds desire. They also betrayed and killed their best general who came THIS close to restoring their old glory because they are a bunch reactionary, backstabbing fucks who splintered into themas. All vying to be Empress, completely oblivious how their even their rump empire is crashing and burning around them, getting invaded by humans ostensibly en route to fight the orcs.

Anyone know how Knights Errant will work? I mean, aren't they too few in number during the Heresy to be able to field any significant force of them and still remain true to lore. From what I can recall, there were around 10-15 total mentioned in Vengeful Spirit. Who would their commanders be(besides Garro)? Saul Tarvitz? Loken? Malcador himself? Would they rely on auxiliary forces to boost their numbers?

I am expecting an Inquisition like faction here mechanically. You can pick only HQs and Elites and it has to be a detachment with one of the other Imperium factions.

I wouldn't know, I've never played with gross neckbeards. Contrary to popular opinion, alot of people who are intonon-warhammer 40kRPG games aren't actually basement dwelling grognards. I happen to play mostly with a college gaming group, and they're pretty chill.

What if the Emperor is, in fact, a perpetual? What if he communicated to the Imperium that he wanted to be cut off from the Golden Throne so that he could die and properly reanimate?
In the few minutes that he needs, if the Imperium brought the GREATEST of their warriors to defend the warp rift against incoming demons, took all of their ships out of warp storms, could they hold the line until he resurrected?
