You glance over to the boy in front of you, sleeping away as if this isn't happening. You feel mad, terribly upset...you want to give Lawrence the cold shoulder and just stew in your bad mood for a while. The rest of you feels like crying though, and that's the part that drives you to talk.
"Yeah..." You don't want to disturb the little boy too much, but you're also trying to keep your emotions from all tumbling out, trying to keep yourself calm so he can't see how bad you feel.

The hoverbuggies rush by one after another with their usual high-pitched, whining sounds, leaving streaks of cyan, hot pink or electric green after them. Welcome splashes of color in this otherwise monochrome city scape. Polished blacks and dull greys, with the occasional white light to illuminate the streets people wanted to see. The drizzling rain only adds to the shining metal, coating everything in a damp sheen.

This little number here is a new story, revolving around a futuristic world still stuck in a 1920’s mindset. You play the role of Frank Portarelli, a newly minted detective in the Denounce City Police Department, the DCPD. The year is 2437, and the entire surface of earth is a spanning metropolis, the only parts of earth that remain green are small park sectors throughout the planet.
The rules are as follows, I lay out a couple of actions and ya’ll vote on what to do. Shocking, I know.
