The thing is, for some reason I can't attach myself to anyone for long, but I still need company. Well anon, it sounds like you've either got commitment issues or you were expecting something from the person that never happened. Either way, it seems like you are the problem, and you admit it, at the very least. You should try to figure yourself out. Try to figure out what the breaking point is where you cut them off, and see if there's any connection there.
