Hello /k/, polack from /o/ here.
Can somebody explain to me why the polish and Portuguese special forces use the DE?
I get that it's really cool in movies and videogames because it's huge and loud, but I'd have thought that special forces would prefer something lighter, more accurate with less recoil and a larger mag. Something that could handle a flashlight for you so that you don't break your wrist on the first shot.

engine blocks
checkpoints
literally no other purpose

>Won't break your wrist
Have you ever actually shot one? They're rather comfortable. And accurate. Which they should be since they were designed for competing and hunting.

It's for big guys.

I don't mean to be an ass, but did you fucking walk it?
Hi /k/. Russian here. There's a big shitstorm going between putin's anti-gun propagandists and normal people on sosach's /b/. So i decided to make mah freedom map, just wanna known in what countires/us states i can carry a pistol every day (cause its forbidden here). Also ask about russian gun laws if u r interested ill try to ask.
Pretty much every state in the US lets you open carry firearms, and most will let you concealed-carry pistols. It's only a few states (California, New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut) that have gun grabby laws.
Isn't Putin pro gun?
Seems like he would be, it's not like faggot leftists like pussy riot would ever touch a gun
>>29910212
How strict are the gun laws in Russia? Is it easy to get a carry license there? Do they crack down on rifles and other long arms?

>turn 21 few days ago, realize I could conceal carry now if I wanted to
>don't want to be one of those guys who has to put his holster on before he leaves the house and thinks about guns all of the time
>don't want people to think I'm some hick as a first impression and dislike me
>even the idea of a pocket holster sounds like an annoyance
>keep thinking about this for a few days
>be paranoid about getting raped or killed by a nignogger
>my whole life could end because some faggot wanted to rob me of $50 from my wallet
>"fine"
>walk into dicks sporting goods, haven't touched a gun in years
>check out Ruger LCP, Walther PPKS, some $1500 Kimber 1911 for giggles to see if I could understand why it was $1500, and Glock 43
>be weak NEET so I can barely pull the slide back or even pull down on the slide release
>even putting in a fucking magazine takes effort
>talking to the guy behind the counter, being nice to me and not snobby at all, I make it obvious to him that I'm brand new
>tells me he carries 99% of the time
>tells me he has carried a Beretta 92FS
>leave store
The Ruger felt perfectly fine and it would probably be my carry gun. The Walther felt amazing but the magazine release is annoying to reach and it's too heavy and large to pocket carry. The Glock 43 felt amazing all over but it's still a bit large. The Kimber felt ridiculous to handle and I would never buy it.
The Ruger LCP felt like the perfect carry gun and holding with two fingers really didn't seem like a big deal or a significant issue at all so I don't understand why people vocally dislike that. The $1500 Kimber felt like crap but I wasn't looking for some full-size so I'm biased. The Walther and Glock felt much better and I wish I had a reason to buy them. I'll probably buy the Ruger LCP when it goes on sale for $200.
How did I do?

You did great anon.

>>29907441
Footwear recommendations? Preferably something I could wear every day and not look like the Gestapo.
After discovering restricted ppp's are a thing, I'm eyeing a USP compact. It's cheap on the used market and is just the right size that I can conceal it, at least under a light jacket. I really need a glock 19 sized firearm with a longer grip and not shit sights, and the usp seems to fit the bill.
In for blue is a fag
Should I get this DDI or a mossberg 930?
they are both around the same price.
shotgun appreciation thread.
>>29907371
Bump.
I've also been interested in possibly picking one up
Saigas and Molots have problems being reliable shotguns. Don't get a poorly made american knock off.
>the correct answer is Benelli M4.
I've heard that the guys that try to use saigas/veprs/ak platform shotguns always have issues. I have a mossberg 930 that has run anything from birdshot to 1oz slugs fine from the get go. No malfunctions. I would recommend getting the JM Pro 930, it's well worth the $
https://www.rt.com/news/342563-germany-bundeswehr-army-expansion/
"Germany is marching towards rebuilding what was once western Europe’s largest army, with a “long overdue” decision to recruit 14,300 additional soldiers over the next seven years, to counter modern threats and overcome pressures “in all areas.”
“A quarter century of contraction is over. It is time for the Bundeswehr to grow again,” Ursula von der Leyen, the defense minister said in a statement announcing the expansion. “The Bundeswehr is under pressure to modernize in all areas. We have to get away from the process of permanent shrinking.”
So, what does /k/ think?
They'll fuck it up. Germany is Sweden 2.0.
They somehow don't have repair parts for their existing inventory of vehicles and weapons. Despite the amount of money they spend.
>>29907227
That they're going to have to lower the recruitment standards.
>Only 14k more over seven years
Barely anyone there wants to join the military, and those that do are generally the lowest of the low.

I live in California after backpacking my way here from Mississippi.
If I start up a small store, will I be able to legally craft a range in the back?
Money is not an issue so dont hold back on suggestions.

As a commiefornian.
WHY DID YOU COME HERE?
God damn I'm trying to go the other way.
But for your question, it really depends on the right permit and as you can image it can be a real bitch to deal with all the various californian and federal departments and paperwork.
We sure aren't ole miss in terms of gun friendliness.
>>29906430
>I came to California
Literally why lmao this place is a shithole
You can open an indoor range but you would have to get the local government on board with it. This means heavily reinforcing the building for ballistics and sound insulation. You also have to ventilate it for lead particles. It really doesn't matter if city council crosses their arms around refuses. You can build a baffle box and not tell anyone too.
Improve it.

Add a short stroke gas piston.
