Does it? Is being stacked and strong a plus?
>>29913729
being massive? probably not. It's good to be strong, though. If you lift, you're going to get bigger, but it's possible to do in a way that will emphasize strength gains instead of size gains. I wouldn't worry too much about getting huge, though, it takes a long time and a lot of effort to get that big.
I'd say the ideal program would increase endurance and strength.
Look up Vince Urbank sometime. He's a strongman competitor who was in the marines. His nickname was "machine...

You can have strength without the bulk. My understanding is that bodybuilders tend to do a lot of short high weight reps, which build short muscle fibers whereas if one is training for strength one does long reps. This is why asian grandmothers who worked in rice fields all their lives aren't built in the slightest but are still strong.
>>29914357
uh..... kind of. bodybuilders go for failure, or drop set. they lift until they can't lift anymore, drop the weights, do it again for 3-5 sets of 8-12 reps. that builds size. for strength training, you do 3 sets of 8-10 reps, but lots of weight.
I started doing 4 sets - 2 regular sets of 8, 3rd set I go til failure, drop weight, go til failure again. I'm making some good gains again after a while. It's weird, but I'm not getting much bigger, but how much I lift is going up pretty fast.
Will blimps ever be relevant again, or are they just big targets?
They were useless when the Germans tried to bomb London in WWI, and they were only marginally useful in WWII as barrage blimps.

They've been on our southern border, the keys and I think puerto rico for years, also Iraq and Afghanistan.
High altitude airships are still being researched for military surveillance and missile defense.

They are try hard and cringey as fuck a lot of the time but it's still nice to see people who do more than type about moldy labia on the interweb all day

Wrong way to go about it.
If I were to run a militia, we would be a shooting sports association. We would have our meetings in garages wearing polo shirts with our logos.
And when SHTF?
>>29913069
Most of the so called militia movement is drama and social ineptitude, with a good heaping of dunning-kruger effect.

I'm not European, so no.

This happens regularly in the states. It's always women that turn them in, clueless and/or malevolent.
I just found out my bitch ass "grandmother" sold all of my grandpa's guns i was promised before she passed away, also a Hitler youth knife. I didn't care what happened to anything else of his estate, but i wanted those items.
I'm sure all that money was spent on Coors and penny slots.

It's sexy, but the DA pull is absolute dogshit. If you disagree you've never shot one ever.
So we talk about bug out bags and contingency plans all the time, but what about after the initial upheaval? what about after the dust of the 'apocalyptic' nuclear/biological/etc... warfare settles and things go back to independent towns and city states without a centralized government; assuming you survive the initial unrest; what are you going to do for a living? What kind of marketable skills do you have in a 'modern' feudal society?
Do you know how to farm? (outdoors or hydroponics)
Are you handy with mechanics? carpentry/construction?
You probably have a gun, which is more than most people can say; so you could probably use that to make money in some kind of mercenary or bandit fashion.
Are you an entrepreneur? If you're good at scavenging and hoarding things and are fast you could open some kind of trading post.
What's YOUR plan for after the fall?
No this is not about the imminent collapse of society and who is responsible etc... this is just a fun survival hypothetical for discussion
I would be the gunsmith/armorer

Do you just have the knowledge or the facilities as well?
Either way, that's a pretty valuable skill.
If you have the facilities, you could go independent, but even if you don't, there surely would be larger armed organizations that would find you very valuable.

None other than a thin handle, I guess. If you ask me it's just another way chinese knifemakers can reduce manufacturing costs, and your knife won't last as long.

I would imagine so, I just searched "mora bushcraft" on google images and that was the prettiest one. I don't know much about Mora other than their high reputation.

What went wrong?
>>29911316
It was mainly for research and to keep the company alive.
Russia doesn't need a "5th gen" and should just focus on fixing the problems in the VVS as well as increasing the amount of wings/pilots they have.
>What went wrong?
You posted over decade old picture of an early test plane
It was built by Russians. They thought they had stolen enough technology to make it work but they were wrong.

that sounds like the day of an average fighter pilot.
i once had to wait for crew in my formation for an hour sitting at the end of the runway while both jets they took broke twice each.
and our jets are about 30 years old at this point. they've basically got the kinks worked out.
