What can you guys and gals tell me about the nagant revovler, I can get one for under 300 and ammo for 32c a shot. Good idea or what? Debating between one and a makarov right now.
It's a neat gun. One of the only revolvers you could ever (theoretically) put a sillencer on.
It has a monstrous trigger pull and takes forever to reload, though.
What are you planning on doing with it?
They really, really suck. Don't buy one unless you're a collector, and even then there are way better milsurp revolvers out there.
Cool guns for $99. For $300 you can buy much better surplus handguns.
Are pistol SBRs tactically deployed or are they just marketing fodder for mall ninjas?

You're gonna see one guy with a scar 17s or maybe even an sr25 but that's it.
I know they had to play with the design a bit for closed bolt, but 8k for a basic bitch version. Thats not worth the snowflake factor. 8k is getting into registered MG territory, and there are civil belt fed guns that cost less. They can do better in that price and they know it.
With that being said I'll be patiently awaiting some gut slapping a nice optic on it to hunt prairie dogs and pigs

I mean I don't know but i don't think you wear ear pro or anything in war so your ears must go through some really loud noises.

Hearing isn't as bad as you think. Just had my auditory test a few months back and I only had issues in certain pitches associated with small arms gunfire and being around aircraft. Honestly QA and Saftey are pretty anal about ear pro

It is entirely possibly to wear earpro in combat. I mean, I guess some people try to act tough by not wearing earpro, but that's a retard's game to play.
I wore either Surefire in-ear plugs or Peltor liberators dismounted, and the standard commo sets while mounted. My ears are totally fine.

In modern day and age, earpro is pretty much ENFORCED in any 1st world country -tier military. Be it basic muffs / plugs, or even the bit fancier electronic, noise-canceling cups, no soldier goes to war anymore without something covering your hearing. Any time there happens an accidental firing of weapon, any people near the weapon not wearing earpro are instantly sent to medical exams.
FYI, just your basic assault rifle can emit noise over 150db per shot, which can instantly damage your hearing. When it comes to large stuffs, like artillery and shit, double protection (plugs + muffs) is required.
That being said, I served in 08, and my hearing's pretty much the same as before it, thanks to the clear instructions and orders to ALWAYS. WEAR. YOUR. FUCKING. HEARING PROTECTION!

I own one. I love it. The forward grip takes a bit of getting used to, though it can be easily removed and replaced with another grip. It's hard to load 30 round magazines (it was designed to take 20 round mags), but it will still take them. You will be pleasantly surprised by the lack of recoil and the accuracy of it.

Why does the media always portray a cop shootout with mass shooters when a shootout only occured in 28% of mass shootings from 200-2013?

Regardless, the Australians don't have any requirements for amphibious capability and the armour/sensor options are beyond what's on offer in the ACV 1.1 competition.
Bought it for a dollar at a local swap meet, all I know about it is that it is 75mm because I used calipers, and it has a hole in the base.
So I got 2 opinions.
Old marine vet says its HE cuz it has "a fuse hole in the base." But hes straight up tinfoil status and has been known to wildly exaggerate things in the past.
2nd opinion is that its a solid steel AP round, or a training round, but that guy is airforce and admits that he doesnt really know.
I know that ww2 era 75mm shells had base detonating fuses, but im also kinda not sure cuz its outside my era of UXO expierience. So what is it /k/

He seems to be implying that the kid's letter is somehow stupid, yet the kid isn't the one who joined the military to go off to war. And the way he is nonchalantly letting the cigarette hang from his mouth while making that stupid face seems to conceal a little pain in his eyes. As if he knows that despite his "service" to the US his wife is being serviced by someone else back home. Maybe he is taking out his frustration about his failed marriage by trying to mock a child that is ernestly wishing him well, but that is no excuse. He needs to man the fuck up and stop trying to get attention/sympathy online and instead plan for what he is going to do for money once he is can no longer be on the government dole
