Maybe in his home cooking?
Serious question though; how good are these expensive jelly stock cubes?
The cubes taste like shit, the liquid ones aren't any better.
Can we talk about matcha?
I've recently started drinking this regularly after deciding to buy a bag of it off Amazon. So far, it's been great. Creamy, nice smell, and froths quite easily. I've replaced my morning cup of coffee with matcha since it's far quicker to make, requires no tools, plus has the same amount of caffeine without any chance of bitterness.
>>7343534
You can still get bitter matcha if you don't drink it immediately. The bamboo whisk thinger makes the traditional tasty froth.

>requires no tools
you're doing it wrong anon
>>7343666
I don't really count a wisk as a tool. Rinse it and put it back on the hanger.

Eggs or oatmeal for breakfast with fruit juice
Bologna and cheese or tuna sandwich for lunch witch baby carrots
Meat loaf and veggies, spaghetti, or baked beans and hot dogs for dinner
This is what I would feed you every week as my pet, is it decently good?
>>7346217
Yeah. Except the meat loaf. I don't like meat loaf.
>>7346217
>Baked beans and hot dogs.
I take it this would be an arrangement for those looking to be degraded.

anyone else feel this weird sense of accomplishment after baking their own bread? Im not that much of a cook by any means, I can prepare a lot of things but never did I feel so satisfied after baking bread
>>7345998
I usually bake loaves of bread just to throw them away so I can bake another loaf of bread and throw that away so I can bake another loaf.
>muh accomplishments

So /ck/ poorfag here. I have a big assort of sauces, a few eggs, flour and spices, but only one last loaf of bread and a pack of sausages. What would you recomend aside from killing myself?
>>7345735
Scrambled eggs and toast with sausage?
>>7345745
Yeah that should be obvious but I was expecting a recomendation about, what you put in your eggs or a good way to prepare it, or a good sauce to accompany my sausage.
>>7345745
Also I tought I still had bread. But I was wrong.
Why is Wild Turkey 101 so gross? Yeah it's stronger than ordinary whiskey but that shit tastes like medicine.
What are some good whiskeys that aren't too expensive?
Looking for bourbon?
When I go cheap I usually go Canadian. As far bourbon I honestly really have no problems with shit like Jim beam.
>>7344329
I don't really mind what type of whiskey. I usually drink vodka anyway. I just hate shelling out a little more money to try some whiskey only to have it not be very good. I was wondering if there was any under the radar whiskeys that are good for the price
And yeah Jim Beam is alright for the price.
Thanks for posting
>>7344319
It's actually pretty good, but if you want a solid bourbon for a decent price try buffalo trace. I use to legitimately recommend old crow reserve, but I don't think it's being made anymore. At least it's not distributed currently

How's your Fat Thursday going, /ck/?
It's Fat Tuesday.
>>7343914
It's a different thing, anon.
Fat Thursday is a traditional Catholic Christian feast marking the last Thursday before Lent and is associated with the celebration of Carnival. Traditionally it is a day dedicated to eating, when people meet in their homes or cafés with their friends and relatives and eat large quantities of sweets, cakes and other meals usually not eaten during Lent. Among the most popular all-national dishes served on that day are pączki in Poland or berliner, fist-sized donuts filled...

Pretty good considering I'm not a dirty papist and I can have doughnuts any time I want
I haven't been here in a very long time. I'm a visitor from >>>/cgl/ and just made my first attempt at a Japanese omelet.
The point of this thread is subtle trolling in food. Is there any way to troll someone in cooking where it still tastes fine, but you know in your head what you did.
I'm genuinely curious.
>>7343564
The paper plate is a nice touch.
I think you could put semen in most foods and nobody would notice.
What's the point of trolling though if there's no payoff?
>>7343573
The paper plate is a nice touch, but the thing here is my ketchup says "Idiot" in Japanese.
Also you're right about the payoff. I wouldn't go that far with semen, but I might sneak in something I know a friend doesn't like. Like if they don't like parsley, include exactly 2 leafs or something, and then play the waiting game.

you are sad
