Is pizza the most flexible food in the world? I can't think of a time where I shouldn't or don't want pizza.
>>

It's pretty great.

I realise not everyone on /ck/ is a connoisseur so I'll explain for the uninitiated what II'm sampling today.

1 x Large BBQ stuffed crust half/half pizza
Left half - Hawaiian(Ham, Mushroom and Pineapple)
Right Half - The Sizzler(Spicy CHicken, Pepperoni, Jalapenos, Onions and Herbs with a Sundried tomato and garlic sauce)

1 x Chicken Kickers Combo (Succulent CHicken Kickers on a bed of Potato Wedges)

1 x Chocolate Brownie(4 squares)

I'd rate it a solid 8 out of 9..

What's yours?

For me: Pa amb tomàquet. I have no idea why this isn't a common meal in most places, it's so simple and cheap.
Just toast bread, rub garlic and tomato on top, put on salt and olive oil. Perfection!

Where's your favorite place to dumpster dive?

What do you usually get?

Who the fuck dumpster dives for food, especially unsealed food, if they're not homeless?
>>
I like pizza restaurants after they close for the night. Some times I get as several boxes of undelivered pizza. Most of the time it's just half eaten slices.

Defamation, which consists of both libel and slander, is defined by case law and statute in California. See Cal. Civ. Code §§ 44, 45a, and 46.

The elements of a defamation claim are:

publication of a statement of fact
that is false,*
unprivileged,
has a natural tendency to injure or which causes "special damage," and
the defendant's fault in publishing the statement amounted to at least negligence.

I've had fried mac before. It's okay

Wouldn't touch that shit though. That or those Dorito nuggets.
>>

He was clearly referring in a facetious way to the fact that the rightmost Mac n' Cheetosâ„¢ nuggets are open, exposing the "gore" that is Flavor Blastedâ„¢ Macaronis.

This is an example of fair use, a US legal doctrine that permits limited use of copyrighted material without acquiring permission from the rights holders for purposes such as parody, which OP is clearly enacting here.

I'm very conflicted /ck/ on which is better; end grain or edge grain cutting boards? I mean wood is composed of packed lignin that acts as a series of tubes that seem more prone to harbor bacteria on end grain. Everyone says end grain is best but it's all a bunch of grandparent nonsense like

>it's supposed to take in bacteria so the wood can suffocate it and make use of its nutrients

>end grain cutting boards repair themselves when cut like a bundle of straws

>end grain boards won't dull your knives nearly as quickly!

>you're fine just don't use poultry on them or you'll have to throw it away

What are your experiences with different kinds of cutting boards?

>so, I went to an empty bar with a mate, and after I sat on the counter, a very polite bartender asked me how was my day
>'it was fine, but I haven't left the office for anything other than water this afternoon'
>'so, rough day. would you like a meal before I serve you?'
>'no, thanks'
>didn't ask him what it was to be polite to him, yet he still handed us nuts and crackers (person with me was having beer)

What would be the meal he'd serve me? Why no other bartender ever offered that to me? Is that commonplace?

Pick a semi complicated recipe. Buy ingredients for it. Follow recipe exactly.

Wait, then do the recipe again. This time use the recipe as more of a guideline than a rule. Experiment where it makes sense. Make things your own. Etc

On a diet and baby carrots are pretty much my go to snack food between meals (as well as nuts/trail mix)

What are some good ways to make then less bland without dressing? Something healthy I can eat them with or a way to cook them that makes them less.... Stock?

What other veggies would be a good substitute ?
11 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
you can toss them with dressing seasoning powder and it's got all the flavor but none of the calories of a dressing

Maybe some sort of pickling of the carrots?

How can you make plain veggies taste good without drenching them in mayo? I want to eat healthier but they all taste like shit, especially broccoli.
40 posts and 4 images submitted.
>>
Try not overcooking them.

I personally like having steamed tofu and vegetables (cabbage, brocolli, carrot, onion) with a side of rice.

You could also make some ramen and put tons of veggies in too.
>>
>>7862359
If you practice enough it becomes second nature. How do you think all those america-hating liberals manage to choke down vegetables all the time while smiling smugly like they enjoy it? It's an acquired taste and when your virtue signaling crowd has decided that it's the taste to acquire for this season, you'll do anything - waiting in line at whole foods to be seen by the paparazzi as you pose with your limes and avocadoes, smugly chomping on kale and quinoa and activated almonds, and even studying mexican in order to show how not racist you are.
>>
>>7862368
This is what i usually do, i have one of those kettles that allows steaming and that's how i prepare almost all the vegetables i eat. They still don't taste very good

>>7862369
Wew. Maybe i should try to hipsterise myself.
