How do I make brown rice in a bamboo steamer?
You need to buy a humidifier.
Would probably be easier to look up some guides online instead of asking /ck/
Are there actually any benefits to using a bamboo steamer over cooking it in a pot or rice cooker?

>Are there actually any benefits to using a bamboo steamer over cooking it in a pot or rice cooker?
Nope. It's just a different method.
I found this clipart while searching for hamburgers, can anyone tell me what the fuck this is?
It looks to be some sort of glob has replaced the patty and it's garnished with chocolate chips and is confusing me.
Anyone have any insight on this? Thanks
It isn't real. It is photoshopped garbage. Why do you care so much?
thats the inside of one of those chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches. Now I want one, thanks douche.
It looks like mint chocolate chip ice cream?
Why do you care?
What are you eating cu/ck/s?
>>7869014
I don't know, I'll ask my mom.
>>7869014
Not that greasy abortion aftermath, if that's what you're asking OP.
>>7869014
Just ate some chicken and miscellaneous beans.
Does /ck/ cook with MSG? why not?
>>7869003
Just started to, it's pretty good.
>>7869003
Rarely.
I have nothing against it. It's not toxic or anything. But there are better sources of the savory flavor than using just MSG. For example, if you're into making Chinese food then use something like douchi or doubanjiang instead. Those are much more flavorful than just MSG.

meh why would i
if anything lately i've been trying to tone down both my spices and my seasoning to allow the meat and vegetables to shine on their own
yeah we all know umami taste or salty punch, fish sauce or added butter, heavy cream.. is nice, but you don't want that shit in every single dish
If i soak grinded buttered weed in hot water (just boiled) for 1-2hours in a very good thermal cup (it said that if i put rice and hotwater in the cup, by morning the rice will be cooked), will this work instead of extracting the thc from the stove way.
I have about 1g left and im thinking of 5:5 butter water ratio that will fill about 1/3of the thermal cup.
Thx I'm looking to make some tea.
>>7868850
Yeah. Will work fine.
>>7868855
Are you nuts? THC is not water soluble. You need either fat or alcohol involved in order for the THC to be extracted. That's why the typical use of cannabis in cooking involves extracting it into butter or oil.
You need a source of fat (butter, oil) or alcohol. Water only won't work.

I will mix just boiled hot water with same amount of butter and then add my grinded stuff. The water is for the heat i also plan to microwave butter to have it melted before hand.
Hmmmm if i use just melted butter (from the microwave and my buds in the thermal cup i guess id also be a way to go...
Also anon for the alcohol based method. Do i just some my grinded buds into alcohol and drink? I have 1g left and a bottle of jack daniel. Do i just grind it up and soak it in the alcohol for 2 months?

Britfag here
A lot of foreign friends I talk to either aren't familiar or dislike the baked bean culture we have. As far as I'm aware it's a thing exclusive to America and Britain. Am I correct or is there another country out there that's this big on beans?
Tons of places eat beans. But I've never seen many baked beans outside of the us and uk.
There are so many amazing ways to prepare beans
Australia. Baked beans are pretty big over here, a breakfast staple. Tasty shit
i do know what is that, on trip in usa I eat that and it taste like our child desserts; but what to expecting from british sink costs?
in japan we have bean call natto, it is much better and for real good taste (french word, gourmet?)
What are some ways to improve my ramen experience, /ck/?
soy sauce
spring onion
scrambled egg
any vegetables
any meat
anything
call me a heretic but i fry my packets of ramen
>boil the noodles until they seperate but are still hard
>have a hot pan ready
>with your choice of cooking grease in it
>prepare 1dl of water
>put in noodles
>stir in the flavor pack
>add optional spices of choice
>add the water

I think you mistook /b/ for /ck/ considering the quality of this post.
Stick it up your butt.

I've been in ck all summer it's cool
I think it may be some sort of asian gourd
Hi /ck/. I know this is a slow-moving board, but i need fast answers if possible.
Im a poorfag right now, and all i have to eat at the moment is Maruchan chicken flavored ramen.
Now don't get me wrong, i love it original, but ive become sick and bored of eating it plain.
I am a fan of spicy foods, and would love to add some tasteful spiceness to it. My friend had some highbrand spicy ramen noodles that were the bomb, but i have no idea what spices were included.
I have sometimes been known to sprinkle some crushed red pepper in my ramen, which...

im so confused why chicken appears to be the popular maruchan flavor?
it is the single worst flavor BY FAR.

how does it feel to be eating total garbage, destroying the planet, and contributing to animal abuse on a daily basis all at the same time, /ck/?
Feels good
shitpost supreme.

How does it feel to be congitively dissonant?
Because your veggies are all picked by abused transient workers who are exploited for the lowest dollar.
Your plastic faux-leather is derived from petroleum, which does far more environmental damage than meat production does on sevarl scales.
Oh, and most Arab countries use indentured servants to dig new wells, so there's also that
Also without the meat industry you'd have no large-scale natural fertilizer productions.
Sad/Regetful meals you've eaten?
For a month when I was really poor and paycheck was delayed to pay off loans, I ate rice, beans, and Vienna sausages. Cost me maybe 15-20 dollars to feed myself that month.
>>7867814
I did something similar. Ate hard biscuits of flour, water, and baking powder, as well as rice with essentially pico de gallo mixed in. 1 biscuit for breakfast, 1 bowl of rice for dinner.....
I didn't find it particularly sad though, poverty makes me enjoy things more 2bh.
>>7867814
i did the same. i was stuck in a house in san ysidro. 1800#s of brown brick staring me in the face and a sick burro. had to chillanga for 4 days until the calvary came to help me out. i opted to shit in a bucket for the time i was there paranoid that if i left i wouldnt make it back home.
