So, I tried to replay FF13 last night.
There's no WAY 15 is going to be worse than 13. I'm sure 15 will have its own flaws, but worse than 13? Not possible.

Huh, I hadn't really considered that angle but I guess that is a point, they don't really have anywhere to go but up. FF15 faces reasonably high expectations in general of course, plenty of people just plain never played FF13 at all, but amongst some of the more core customers expectations must be at least somewhat tempered by how god awful the last one was. As long as FF15 is at least decent, and as long as Squeenix can follow up with something further improved a bit reasonably quickly, the TREND will be positive even if the game isn't a 10/10 or 9/10. Sometimes that's enough to get things moving again.

So I've won multiple duels and hit a wall. Apparently I'm not winning any money and my win/losses haven't actually registered at all. Is this a known bug? Is there anything to do fix it? Because I can't even buy threads at this point. Should I just start over? Will that even fix it?
Only way to collect money is to sell items. There are many items you find that are exclusively for selling.
Win/Loss rate is only counted for online/netplay battles.

when did you realise that the gothic series is far more immersive and generally better in every aspect then the elder scrolls series (excluding gothic 4)

I like them both. Gothic does a lot of things better, such as immersion and atmosphere. Khorinis in Gothic 2 is the best city in video games. The worlds are very small however, but very dense with content.

Today I just finished dragon age origins and then I can honestly say that I haven't enjoyed an rpg this much in years.
I always heard that dragon age was some kind of shitty Tumblr series but now I'm not sure sure. Is it worth trying dragon age 2 and 3 or is it really as bad as I've heard?

It's Dragon Age 2 and Dragon Age Inquisition which were always heavily criticized and rightly so.
Dragon Age 2 was just supposed to be an off-shot game of Origins, then some suit came in and said "Hey, make this a title number game instead" and we got the abortion that was Dragon Age 2. Really poor writing, except for some party banter, really poor game design, all over it's an abortion that should have never been released from the womb of decay that Bioware has become.
Inquisition is more like a single-player MMO, in the sense that while the environments may look gorgeous enough, it's filled to the brim with shit-awful MMO-tier quests. I've only played the base game and not DLCs, so I can't pass judgment on those, but the game as it is by itself is simply awful.
