So I've won multiple duels and hit a wall. Apparently I'm not winning any money and my win/losses haven't actually registered at all. Is this a known bug? Is there anything to do fix it? Because I can't even buy threads at this point. Should I just start over? Will that even fix it?
Only way to collect money is to sell items. There are many items you find that are exclusively for selling.
Win/Loss rate is only counted for online/netplay battles.

The descriptions should outright tell you if the item should be sold. If they aren't translated look for a series of identical Japanese characters shared between most of the items (it means "sell").

I assumed anything that didn't have 'sells for X' tag was probably useful for something. Only thing that struck me as unclear was the Mushroom Powder, which says it sells but also has some purpose.

Sure seemed like it. I had a full party ranged from about levels 11-14 with most being 12-13 and it seemed like more than half of my attacks either couldn't penetrate her barrier or didn't work at all. Pretty fucking annoying. I could one-shot Suika and two-shot Aya but Reimu herself was just an awful slog. I remember the previous Touhoumon having similar problems with Reimu and Marisa encounters.

This one is straight-up dodging. Do your best and bomb the rest.

Do not focus when time is slow, and try to get through as many bullets as you can during it.

While time is slow, scan the bullets quickly and see where there are less bullets to dodge. There will always be a spot like that, you just need to train your eye until you can catch it as soon as you look.

For the one with the knives, what you want to do is move upwards as much as you can after the second wave of bullets and then pull back before you get caught by the third wave and the knives. I find that this way helps me avoid getting caged in.

Probably because your expansion isn't updated to the latest version. Run the updater, press the middle button to start updating. Be sure to not go and do something else because at the end you will be asked for permission to actually install the update and you might not see it if you are doing something else.

I had this problem despite correct registry files.
For me it only happened when I updated the expansion to 1.13 though so it might be a different issue than what you have.
I was able to fix it by changing my system locale to Japanese and starting the installation over from scratch.
My guess is AppLocale didn't work because somewhere in the update process it starts some other application or program in regular locale which causes shit to not match up somehow.
I forgot just how much I missed practice mode after 12.8 deprived me of it.

Warped is strong against Steel, Wind, and Illusion and weak against Poison, Sound, and Fighting, it was mostly designed to try and break the sort of domination Steel and Wind had as offensive juggernauts and help make Poison more useful.
Extra specs usually massively change a puppet to be something entirely different, like Yukari going from a slow but tanky spread attacker to being a moderately fast focus attacker, or Wakasagi going from being a fast sweeper to a Genbu setup sweeper.

One thing I really like about this game is the improved AI.
I remember the first time through the expansion Futo pulled some smogon shit on me. Switched into an immunity and performed other actions that seemed predictive in nature. It really makes the game so much better.
