Probably, but it's still gonna be an exceedingly long game with kind of a dull start. I like DQ but I wouldn't recommend VII if it's one of your firsts.
From what I've heard in almost every way. Pacing is better, class system is better, even adding lots of different things to make the game a much more enjoyable game to play.

Thinking of getting a psp off of ebay to play Castlevania Dracula X chronicles, which has SoTN after you beat the game I think. Is the version of SoTN on this any good, same for the actual game. I could play SoTN on ps3, which I might do and forget about this, it's an option though so I thought I'd ask, my main aim is playing SoTN though

Yeah, there's nothing wrong with the SotN port. You do have to unlock it, but it doesn't take much progress in the remake in order to do so.
I bought the game for SotN and then ended up largely ignoring it in favor of the remake. It's a lot better than I expected.

What's up with XCXs soundtrack? It sounds like a goofy attempt at mimicking contemporary western mainstream music, but couldn't sound any more anime or "weaboo" if it wanted to. Why would any person settle for this music? Its garbage.

What you said only applies to like 4 tracks in the game. Most are instrumental. Still doesn't hold a candle to XCWii's GOAT soundtrack, though.

Am I being rused? I can understand preferring DMC 3 or 4 but I've never met a DMC fan who didn't at the very least enjoy DMC 1. I'd say it's just as likely to encounter someone who prefer 1 to the rest as someone who prefers the others to it.

Pinnacle of the fixed camera style. Though RE1 is creepier to me. The fluorescent lighting, barely furnished rooms, and terrible voice actors spouting awkward lines that sometimes birder on gibberish give it an alien atmosphere.
