How come Blanc tanks everything out? I buffed Noire's MEM and VIT and both are higher than Blanc's VIT and MEM, but Noire still takes more damage than Blanc, why is this?

The difference between a good video game and a bad video game ultimately comes down to respect for the player.
This gamed does not respect the player. It doesn't respect the player enough to not give enemies three, even four extra turns on a whim.
It doesn't respect the player enough to not expect them to grind for hours. It doesn't respect them enough not to fill the game with instant kill moves.
Is this just down to incompetence, or the Japanese being sociopaths?

Nope. It's how well it gives the player a unique experience
Nocturne is pretty easy and so are other SMT games, maybe you are just burned out? Also, grinding rarely works in Nocturne so don't bother. Pay attention to enemy's and your party's weaknesses and use buffs/debuffs.

People say this is one of the worst console ports of all time, with issues ranging from a 30FPS soft lock to Denuvo being used to missing visual effects to abysmal memory issues. It still is hard to run to this day.
