Like most outdated jap games, Dark souls doesn't reward anything unless you play exactly how they want you to. You have to play the entire game on your tip toes, tediously and cautiously walking through the levels because at any time something from fucking nowhere will come out and kill you and then you have to retry. Normally, a well made game wouldn't rely on cheap tricks like this. But nowadays people are so starved for difficult games they will actually not only settle for shit like this but praise it even. It's crazy.

I think motion controls have less options than VR does, but I think everyone is jumping on a hypetrain rather than a promising product. You basically need a full empty room to properly use the VR and you need an HDMI cable bolted to the device, weighing you down.
I think it's gonna be a rich plaything, game prices will probably reflect similarly.
