What games do you want and how badly do you want to play them? It's a really solid handheld, it just lacks support from Sony and has a very niche library that mainly appeals to weebs.
If you have games you want to play and have money to spare, go for it.

Every GGXRD tournament I see has nothing but Elphelt, Sin and Zato players achieving success. Even online thats what I mostly run into. Elphelt is the worst offender

Their new video is pretty good for showing what the 'point' of VR is: Putting the player inside the game and allowing them to physically interact with it instead of clicking buttons.
