You know, I was always played with the idea that the werewolf disease, assuming it doesn't turn you into a feral, rabid beast, was capable of having mutations and aberrations.
So I always played with the idea that some guy, attributing to mutagenic effects, was turned into a female werewolf. So literally, they're a man stuck in a women's body, or rather, if werewolves can shapeshift back and forth, they're a man can shapshift into a female werewolves body, and majority of their character is simply learning how to act like the opposite sex, eventually coming to terms that they're now woman.
It could also be a woman to man, I dunno....
The sad fact is, especially with all this SJW hootenanny, it's hard to anything gender/sexual related without drawing the ire from either party.

Good writing makes you realise that deep down a character is a person that could exist on a personality level and becomes real to you, SJW's could never do this and they should never be welcome on any media platform. This is my issue with it. There's almost always some evil or rude dialogue choice in Baldur's Gate, but when you find out this chick is a tranny, you're not allowed to be antagonistic about it.
