Hbox is an absolute master of the matchup. He plays specifically to avoid grabs, dtilts and upsmashes and has amazing aerial movement and blocks with big hitboxes. Jiggs is an unbelievable defensive character and Hbox has been aggressively improving at his defensive game over the last year to the point where he's almost unrecognizable, almost entirely due to just making better decisions.

That's very true, but I feel like it's less "visible" just due to the level of improvement of other spacies. It's also a shame that there are maybe 2-3 Jiggs players in the world that approach Hbox's level of skill, so it's unlikely we'll see the same level of adaptation from top 6 spacies while Hbox continues to be able to play close-enough players on the regular.

Bayo's combos were no worse than ZSS in her prime. Only Witch Time is really that dumb/retarded, but otherwise she has pretty bad frame data. She's easy as fuck to learn, but unlike a character like Brawl MK, the matchup can tediously be learned.

I think we'll now see other players attempt to mimic his training plan, not specifically how he's improved Jiggs but working on the weak points of his game. People need to be training in preparation for Hbox, not for Armada- good spacie practice is everywhere, but Hbox-level Jiggs practice is for the moment limited to GA. I'm excited to see what it will mean for improvement of other players; optimizing Fox to fight Fox is ok, but frankly also kinda boring unless you have two true masters of the game like Armada/Leffen/Mango showing off the extremes to which that can go.
