He did a good job. Definitely didn't phone it in as he has been known to do.
It's really jarring and strange to see him when he first appears but you get used to it and he's totally 70 year old Han Solo. The writing is completely Han.
He's fucking great. He basically plays a bitter, jaded washout who secretly holds a heart of gold. He's basically an in-universe Star Wars fan.
