I'll start:
Cut the Rathtar scene to give the film some much-needed breathing room. Maybe use this time to chat while the Falcon is in hyperspace; this would also give the film a sense of scale and grandeur that just wasn't there.
Ditch the whole Death Star clone and instead make the movie solely about both sides trying to track down Skywalker. In the end it is Rey who finds him, after the Force 'awakens' within her.

Good thing they killed Han, he makes the least sense to have on in a mentor role and they need as many new people with character as they can get. They probably shouldve killed Chewy, R2, threepio and wrecked the falcon as well desu.

Combination of young couples on dates, fat neckbeards and parents with kids. Pretty quiet audience overall, they laughed in all the expected places, but no big gasps or rounds of applause in other parts of the movie.
