Sup /tg/, I come to you in my time of need. I have just started a game for some friends of mine and we are half way threw their first dungeon.
Now this is were the request comes in. m players are all the clever sort of people. the kind that mounts focusing lenses and a shutter box on a Xbow frame and cast dancing lights on it to make a low tech las rifle. Now i don't really have any problems with this, as long as they can justify background wise why they know how to do that. what I am here for is some border line BS magical items I can give them to play with for "creative solutions". If any back ground info is needed I'd be happy to oblige, also I would be more than happy in future posts to story time the uses of purposed magical items. please and thank you.

Plates of Adhesion
These are bronze circular plates about 20 cm in diameter and carved with strange symbols, with a large spiral symbol in the center. Placing the plate against a surface and tapping the spiral symbol causes the plate to stick hard to that surface, requiring ten strong men to pull it off by brute force. Tapping the square a second time cancels the effect. These are reusable.
I have a few games that piqued my interest. In a few weeks there is a convention where I could try out a few. Which should I prep? And why?

Well I haven't played it but what I understand so far is this:
It's an auteur game very much colored by the sensibilities of its creator who didn't like the way DnD modules relied on unconnected empty tropes. The name is his personal label apparently derived from a bad breakup, it is not a descriptive title but a lyrical one.
The idea is a fantasy world that doesn't present hollow concepts but that actively tries its best to grind the characters to a bloody pulp. If Tomb of Horrors is a baseline, LotFP is the Heavy Metal cartoon version. Visually it is exploitative to a fault. The art is violent, sexual, and offensive in the best way.
Structurally it comes out pretty close to CoC where players don't get to 'win' scenarios but the way they fail tells a story constructed around grim flavor and mysterious threats.
It's a DnD where goblins eating your family isn't shrugged off as backstory and wielding a cursed item is bound to screw over your entire party eventually, even if it may come with temporary advantages. It's so gritty that to be a hero you have to risk everything every day. TPK is the default. The players have to be careful and inventive to avoid it.

I had this idea for a shadowrun campaign, that the runners would be tricked by a Mr.Johnson has a way out of paying them for a job by knocking them out and stuffing them on a cryogenic ship to Mars in where they discover the company has a major mars base extracting minerals to ship back to Earth. The other companies hire them out to wreck their shit.
Your name is Asato Junichi and today is the worst day of your life.
You have been stuck in this hellhole for two straight months now but suddenly everything just got worse.
For starters one of your comrades, Kamai Yukiko, got presumably eaten by a hollow and her sister Aiko became unstable as a result.
Nothing seemed to calm her down and your commanding officer, the third seat of your squad, was about to send her home to Soul Society due to her instability, however that was postponed because of yet another hollow invasion.
But just as things started to calm down with the hollows culled as usual, the hollow that was responsible for Yukikos murder showed up again and Aiko lost her mind. She charged the creature without any hesitation and split off from your squad. You followed her, knowing she'd die alone if the beast decided to attack her.
You managed to catch up to her and actually surround the monster however, this hollow exhibits traits unlike any you have seen before.
It actually managed to block your Zanpakutō and as you were about to release your sword Oiran, the hollow tore your weapon out of your hand.
This act alone left you shocked but what it did afterwards is what completely stunned you.
Aiko-chan fired off Hadō #31 at the hollow which was standing in front of you.
Though she didn't say the incantation the blast would have been enough to either seriously injure or outright kill you, since Kidō is her specialty.
But this hollow, this common hollow was capable of cutting Shakkahō in half using your own Zanpakutō. The two small fragments of the red ball of energy flew right past you and detonated at a safe distance.
Now the four of you are all standing still, not even the wind is daring to make any noise.
You are too scared to think about what happens next.
But then, the hollow spoke.
You are Kaizar Soize and you are absolutely livid.
Today nothing seemed to go your way, everything you did either went horribly wrong or you had to work twice as hard just to succeed.
And to top it all off, this shinigami in front of you just opened fire at you with an explosive projectile.
It isn't the act of attacking you that upsets you, oh no. It's the fact that she opened fire at you while her comrade was standing right behind you, knowing that the blast would most certainly hit him as well.
From what you can remember you did many bad things, none of which you wouldn't do again in the same situation, but attacking your own men or putting them pointlessly in harms way was not one of them.
The mere notion of opening fire on an ally like that is making your blood boil. You can feel your gills acting up again, not quite flaring red but it's almost there.
In any case, you are furious and in your rage El Recubrimiento actually fails containing your reiatsu and it starts to leak out.
It takes only a few moments for it to overcome the collective pressure of the three shinigami.
As the air around you seems to start boiling in emerald light and the sword in your hand gives a deafening shriek as it seemingly gathers your escaping energy and vibrates to it.
The shinigami break out in a cold sweat, they appear to have accepted their fate and embraced death.
But instead of killing them you start shouting.
"WHAT. WAS. THAT?!"
The expression of the shinigami is a strange mixture of fear and confusion.
"Do you literally have NOTHING better to do than come after me AND KILL EACH OTHER?!"
You continue as you point towards the sky with your the sword.
"I swear to God! First that bastard Adjuchas, then the slimy SS Quincy bastard AND NOW YOU! Give me a break already!
I mean, I'm a monster for crying out loud but what you just did makes me want to throw up! Aren't these the people you fight back to back?
And you just OPENED FIRE ON HIM WITH AN EXPLOSIVE!"
You breathe heavily after this speech of yours.
The shinigami are sufficiently shocked that for a while they won't be able to collect themselves.
You don't want to kill them, that would be mercy killing and you are not that kind.
The question is what to do now...

Playing an ork in a rogue trader game. Could I get pic related, but orkified, with a boss pole covered in some kind of red crystal gubbinz from those pansy eldar?
Instead of claws it has one enormous buzz-saw and one mini volcano cannon (melta gun) mounted in place of the hands. It has an orky face slightly reminiscent of a gargant on the front and a large presumably Diesel engine on the back.
Bonus points if it's cutting a 60m long daemon slug in half.

I was under the impression it was pretty accurate, though the dismissal about cross-breeds was kind of heavy-handed.
I mean, that's what Bretons are as a whole, and I find it sort of odd that the different Human ethnicities are considered practically different species. Same with Mer for that matter. I can only really imagine that being a barrier for Argonians and Khajit.
