This quest, as the title suggests, takes place in the world of Dragon Ball. You're playing as a thirteen year old boy named Tofoo, and will adventure through the story of the Dragonball series alongside characters such as Goku, Yamcha, Bulma, Tien, and many others. Through your actions, you can make significant changes to the story, and perhaps even become the strongest fighter on Earth.
>Rules
At the end of each update you'll have ten minutes to vote on options. Write-ins are allowed, but I do reserve the right to veto them.
In the event of a draw, the option to receive the next vote wins
Rolls will be used on certain occasions, such as attempting a technique for the first time or attempting something extremely difficult. You will have three rolls, and if one succeeds, you succeed. There are no crits.
Rolls are made AFTER an option wins, not during the voting process
I hope everyone has fun.

YEAH SOM
Let's all have a gneiss time.
"Why do you have to wear the mask?" you ask him.
"I can't tell you now," he says. "But, I promise to tell you later."
"So, are you the opposite of Spike?" you ask. "Are you an angel? Are you hiding your wings?"
Once again, the man chuckles behind his mask. "Well, I did come here from heaven. So many questions, Tofoo. That's a good quality."
"Excuse me, but are you two planning on fighting any time soon?" Baba asks.
"Actually, Baba, might I make a request of you?" the man asks.
"Yes, what is it?" she asks in return.
"Considering this is my first time fighting in quite a while, I was wondering if we could move this outside to the grand arena to mark the occasion," he tells her. "Besides, I think the fresh air will do us all some good."
"Yes, very well," Baba says. "Well then, let's go."
Baba floats beside the masked man, the two of them leading the way out of the dark and deadly building.
"Well, looks like you got lucky," Krillin comments. "This guy isn't nearly as scary as the other ones."
"Yeah, but he is number five," Bulma points out. "And I'm sure Baba saved her best for last."
Goku doesn't add any comment, staring at the masked figure, seeming confused, and almost transfixed. He almost seems to be in another place, and it kind of worries you.
>A. Ask Goku what's wrong
>B. Tell Bulma and Krillin that you've got this
>C. Promise Bulma you'll be careful with this match
>D. Something else
Welcome to A Song of Revenge and Gold: House Malroy Quest. In which you take the reins of a House of storied glorious past since Aegon’s Conquering, but whose fortunes have taken a turn for the worse in the doom that Robert’s Rebellion brought. You are Brynden Malroy, second son to Lord Vamos Malroy and Lady Esemella Hayford and the last living heir to Steadhold and House Malroy. The year is 285AC, two years after the Rebellion and a year after your return to Westeros.
House Malroy is a pre-genned House designed around the idea of a story within the Crownlands of a House fiercely loyal to the Targaryens and their attempts to live in this new world after Robert’s Rebellion. Lord Brynden Malroy is as well pre-genned but will take direction from the players in his ways and how he develops himself further. This Quest will be moderately more story driven than others of its kind, but the development of the House and her lands will take just as much importance.
If you’ve played one of the many Quests within the ASoIaF setting the rules of the SIFRP system should be known. I will be using the Game of Thrones edition, as well as a few of the expansions namely OOSP and a few house rules which will be explained as we come to them. If you have questions about how things work or why certain actions are taken I can explain them as we go along. In truth this is a learning experience for me as well.

And now without further ado.
“Keep your shield up, sun at your back. Don’t get overzealous with the little ones, couple a quick bites is enough to knock them out. Your competition are the older lads, you want to win the Melee?”
“Yes Ser Lucas.”
“Then pick the biggest fight. Fat boy over there with the spider webs on his shield. Or the pomegranate boy without the shield. Finish ‘em quick, give the other lads a reason to avoid you and keep your reserves for the end. Know you and Pryor’s boy are friends, but remember, there’s only one winner in there, aye?”
“Aye Ser Lucas.”
Ser Lucas Longwaters smiles as he straightens up and firmly thumps his squire across the back, Grant Conklyn, the heir of House Conklyn punches his arm in return and they both laugh causing you to smile. The boy had been a part of your Household for nearly a year now, coming alongside his elder sister, Lady Racheal Conklyn, when she was wed to Lucas. Lord Argor Conklyn had confided in you that the boy was old enough to be made a Knight already, but felt he needed a few more miles under his feet and a healthy serving of humble pie before he was ready to become his father’s Heir. Grant certainly shared Lucas’ bravado and cockiness, and for good reason you had observe over the months, he was an excellent rider, his sword arm was fast and strong, and his win in King’s Landing’s equestrian competition only added to the youths swelled ego. When he had learned he would be squiring for Lucas and not the Lord of Steadhold, he had nearly thrown a fit his face so twisted up in anger and discontent only his sister could calm him down and convince him to stay.
The two young men embrace, Lucas again thumping Grant’s breastplate, “Don’t disappoint out there lad. Half of Westeros is watching, including the whole of the Reach, and you know what that means?”
Grant wears a beaming grin alongside his response, “Women.”
“Ladies, Grant, mind your manners,” Racheal interrupts coming up behind your small group, causing the boy’s face to drop and his eyes to quickly avert to the ground. She walks up before him, folding her gloved hands over her visibly pregnant stomach now, and eyes him up and down before tipping his chin up to look her in the eyes, “Eyes on the prize little brother, a Knighthood with Lord Mace Tyrell’s blessing is truly a boon. Win it for our family, for father, yes?”
Grant’s chest swells with pride accompanying a firm nod, “Yes sister. I will do our father and House Conklyn proud. I swear. And you as well Lord Malroy, again, thank you for the sword and breastplate.”
Kate Yarson had been hard at work before your journey to Highgarden, mostly dealing with the Household Knight’s arms and armor, sharpening, repairing, reforging if necessary. That she had time for your smaller commissions had astounded you, that they had turned out so well, even more so. Two proper swords, two breastplates, one with a grey horse, another a yellow waning sun and onyx moon. Grant and Edmund had been the only squires intending to compete, they deserved to represent themselves, their families and to a lesser extent your House properly.
“You have been a welcomed guest of Steadhold for the past year Grant Conklyn. I have no doubts you will do your best to put them to good use. Best of luck.”
Grant bows his head deeply, “Thank you my Lord.”
You leave off from the group, Lucas promising to meet you in Ser Olymer Tyrell’s private box in a few minutes, and go off to find Ser Jon Pryor and his son Edmund Pryor in a quiet corner. They had their foreheads pressed together, eyes closed, as you approached, the elder man’s hand wrapped around the back of his son’s head as he prayed with him. You pause before them allowing them their moment, and reflecting upon Lucas’ second amongst the Household Knights, and the stark contrast between the two men.
“...and last to the Warrior. May he grant you strength of arms, courage of mind, and honor of being in the coming times. May your sword strike true, shield protect heart, and armor wrap you in his blessing. So blessed are those by his grace.”
“So blessed are those,” Edmund repeats after his father and they open their eyes, Jon taking the moment to give his son’s head a firm squeeze before breaking and nodding towards you.
“My Lord. My son has a few words for you if you will allow.”
“Of course Ser Jon,” you respond, “Edmund, you may speak.”
Edmund takes a knee, bowing his head deeply and placing the sword you had made for him before his and your feet before speaking, “I am forever grateful for your kindness my Lord, I am not worthy of such gifts. May the Seven bless you and your family.”
“Then become worthy of them Edmund,” you say, “Though always remember, in the eyes of myself, your father, and the Seven above, you are already worthy. The best of luck in the Melee.”
The boy looks up to you with a crooked smile before quickly averting his eyes again, “Thank you my Lord.”
Nodding you leave father and son to finish their preparations for the Squire’s Melee, Ser Jon again confirming he will be joining you to watch alongside Lucas, Olymer and Ser Arlen. A few days had gone past uneventful as you had made plans for Lord Randyll Tarly’s feast this night. An event that was suppose to occur two nights ago, that had swelled with guests and numbers and had been postponed as Lord Randyll’s men acquired more game from the surrounding forests. Ser Arlen Hunt and Ser Olymer Tyrell had become regular acquaintances of yours in this time, the former having dined with you the night prior in your pavilion alongside his sons Ser Artys and Armen. Both good lads by any account you reflect while climbing the stairs to Olymer’s private box. The younger, your possible second squire seemed bright and happy, not unlike your own, Victus.
You are the Red Throat Tribe.
Undead ghouls animated by the sentient bacteria calling itself the Red Rot. Once enslaved to a necromancer you have broken free to create a new home for yourselves deep in the dark catacombs under the bustling metropolis of Meldric.
You are not alone down in the Dark.
You have made powerful enemies and close friends with the denizens of the undergrounds. The monstrous and the mutated look to your Tribe and the leadership of Chieftain Jaw for protection and guidance, the radiant light of your power guiding and shielding them from the horrors and cruelty that surround them.
Centered around your tribe an alliance of the various tribes and groups that struggle to survive. Mobile and sentient fungal creatures your closest allies, the first of your friends upon your Enlightenment, fight and die and farm alongside you. An ever growing family of Crocodilian mutants follow your example, protecting the weak with their fearsome might. An ancient and alien intelligence finds itself growing more attached to those it helps to protect at your urging. A family and village of hidden mutants, nearly broken by your own but healing and regaining strength, opens its arms to the refugees and discarded from the surface. A bizarre undead tutors and guides your siblings in profane arts, their cruel rituals turned to the betterment and protection of the Tribes.
Yet you have made many enemies as well. Surfacers fear and suspect you of atrocities or hunt and terrorize you and your allies. Monstrous creatures hunt and prey on the weak, mutants and undead stalking the tunnels in their eternal hunger. Alien minds, ancient and malevolent, twist and warp the dreams and bodies of the weak-willed into their pawns to spread chaos and fear. In many ways the Tribes acting as a buffer to protect the surface world from the horrors of the Dark.
You are the Red Throat Ghouls and the City above fears you. Time will tell if that fear is unfounded or rightfully deserved

This is the Red Throat Ghoul Quest where you play as a tribe of undead Ghouls as they live and grow in the tunnels and sewers under a metropolis thick with danger and pollution. There are many enemies that would love to do the tribe harm but the tribe does have friends to help it in it's times of need.
Previously the Tribe had interrupted a Ripper abduction, bringing the infected to their home for study by Tatters and Dust the Tribe's mad researchers.
The Roaches are discovered to be expanding their brood and increasing their power in the underground as they hunted for undead.
The rains continued to fall on Meldric as the hurricane neared and the city braced itself for landfall.
Fear and Claw had their meeting with the Mayor, convincing him to look into the ownership of the Creswen Manor with promises and bribes.
Jaw ruminated on her old life with Bone only to be interrupted as something attacked the ghouls investigating the overgrown greenhouse.

Leader: Chieftain Jaw
Population: 15 Enlightened, 115 Human Ferals, 95 Hobgoblin Ferals, 11 Orc Ferals, 58 Goblin Ferals, 1 Troll Feral, 2 Ogre Ferals, 5 Radiant Ferals
Prisoners: 4 Ripper infected (3 humans, 1 hobgoblin)
Livestock: 46 Murkhounds, 20 Clackers, 25 Centipedes
Bases: Sepulcher (Home), Reservoir, Abandoned Mansion, Industrial Outpost (joint Fungal operation)
Guests: Sweetie
The Unity's daily report mentions little movement from the insectoids besides scouting parties of murkhounds ridden by solitary roaches. Sightings of the Skum have reappeared despite Talon and the Crocodilians killing several of the mutated Siluro before the rest fled into dark depths.
It also reports that the Snapped Anvil, or rather the brothers Leon and Don, is requesting a meeting with the Ghouls to discuss their trade and other matters.
Tatters and Dust have not been seen since the night before although there were sounds of shouting and barked orders with guttural growling, only quick messages sent through their feral assistants that all was well.
Whatever had attacked the feral goblin seemed to have fled the greenhouse, another feral discovering a faint trail of blue blood leading from an empty pane to the distant copse of trees in the foothills. The group resume their search, this time much more mindful of the potential danger in the strange surface structure.
Jaw and Bone return home, the crafter ghoul secluding himself in his workshop as he drew up plans for repairing and enhancing the mansion.
There is much to be done and tend to.

what's the best build to make a hamon monk in 5e?
Okay, so, first things first, I know that monstergirls are pure magical realm and will never escape that stigma. But, I was wondering; can monstergirls in a /tg/ setting be given a backstory/origin that's actually somewhat believable, rather than pure fetish fuel handwaving?
I mean, look at the classic D&D Sphinx, whose messed up lifecycle most recently was used in Pathfinder. Is it really implausible that a gynosphinx could have a stream of thought like this?
"Hmm... I really feel the need to make some kittens. Got to keep the lineage going. Now then, what are my options? Ah, yes:"
"A: I can work my tail off to track down an Androsphinx. Then, assuming I make it to him without getting gangraped by Hieracosphinxes or trapped by a Criosphinx and forced to exchange my womb for my freedom, I have to humiliate myself to get the stuffy prude to notice me and finally deign to take a five minute break from philosophizing to hump me and give me a litter."
"B: There's this male human who's been studying under me to become a wizard. He's smart, he's cute, and everyone knows humans will have sex with anything that's willing. All I got to do is ask and I'm sure he'll be my baby daddy."
"...Option B it is."
*One steamy sex scene later*
"So, wait, you'll not only give me some kittens, but you'll make the kitten-making *fun*? *And* you'll want to do it again whenever I want to, *and* you'll stick around afterwards to help raise the kittens? Score!"
It's a stupid thing to wonder about, I know, but still, I was curious enough and I figured it could hurt to ask anons their opinion.

The answer to every Warhammer jump.
The sun sets, the hazy off-yellow dot slipping bellow the horizon, casting the distant city of New Tokyo in silhouette. The terraces of farmland hum with automated machinery as the lights of farmhouses and small villages dot the frigid landscape as a chilly winter wind whips through the valley as the light of Virgo fades in silence, jagged shadows spreading over the terraced paddy fields as smoke begins to rise from the chimneys of small villas and conjoined community compounds.
A point of light flickers in the sky, a single, glowing dot growing in size shooting across the sky. It grows closer, until its passing offers a distant thundering roar. The space pod arcs over the valley, illuminating it only briefly with a faint glow of atmospheric friction before bouncing off the top of a terrace and landing in the distant pine covered forests beyond with the sound of rolling thunder. It has scarcely cooled from its landing before the inhabiting drones consume it, fleeing into the wilderness in the direction of the distant skyline.

Some players just want to watch the board burn.
>running Lamentations of the Gingerbread Princess module in 5e
>players get to the end and have to choose between killing a child to end a wish the child made or making a wish to try end the childs wish that unknowingly entrapped the party
>trick is the wishes are always cursed in some way by the idol granting them so they have to be careful
>players wish for the childs wish to be ended
>I choose to curse their wish to mean they have to end the wish by their own hand
>player gets upset and claims I'm taking away player agency by essentially forcing their character to kill the child
>I figured because their player is so reluctant to kill the child it as the obvious curse to their wish
>session ends with an argument over how unfair it is and that I railroaded them
Did I fuck up? I realize I did make the wish option into a trap to force them to kill the child anyway, but I figured an evil idol knows you don't ant to kill the girl so it is going to force you to do so. Seems reasonable right? It wasn't too dickish? The player said he didn't care about killing the child but he was pissed I took away player agency and railroaded them.Last group I ran it for wished for selfish shit and just killed the girl and I expected much the same since this group is way more morally ambiguous.
>>48089803
>Did I fuck up?
Yeah, following modules is for potatoheads.
>>48089803
Yeah, your logic kind of breaks down at "forced the players to perform the wish". Granting a wish means it happens by instant act or by the appearance of something other than the players. Wishes are not fulfilled by forcing the wisher to do the thing he wished for.
Eg, if I wished to "be rich", it would be stupid for the wish-granter to force me to work hard for 40 years until I became rich. That is not the commonly-accepted definition of "granting a wish".
So you kind of fucked up, though your players shouldn't be such bitches about it.
You reduced the number of alternatives to a single one, so you did take away their agency. If you thought that was fair (and it seems fair, if boring) then that's fine. Your players obviously didn't though, and I think coming up with a second option - that was still negative - would have been better for the game.
Basically, they made a choice not to do something and you decided that meant they still had to do it. So their choice *was* meaningless. Is that what you wanted? Is that what they wanted? Is that the purpose of the module?
We are making our own heresy, with blackjack, and loyalists losing!
What if the Warmaster was like Alpharius, a cunning spy? What if he actually won the war and killed the Emperor. What if a shadow emperor ruled Segmentum Solar as a 1984 fascist state, while his traitor brothers ruled border marches to hold the loyalist crusaders in the east at bay? That's what we're working on here in this thread.
>What is your legion's command structure? What are the highest ranking officers called? Does your primarch have some sort of war council like the Mournival or the Tetrarchs? Who are your Primarch's Equerry and what are their major deeds?
>How is your Legion's Crusader State or Chaos March run? Is it a wasteland of dead worlds with weeping mothers, or a thriving metropolis of glowing worlds? What is your region of space called, and why? What are your relationships with your neighbors?
>Where is your Primarch at the end of the heresy? Does he rule a crusader state/chaos march? Is he dead? Is he lost somewhere in the Eye of Terror? Is he a Daemon Prince?
If you're posting a new legion:
>What is the name of your primarch and legion? What is their number, and what are their heraldric symbols? What colors do your marines paint their armor?
>What are your legion's tactics? Do they fight with cunning or strength? What sort of equipment do they favor? What sort of enemy would you call them for?
>What does your Legion do during the Great Crusade? How early is the Primarch found, and where? What worlds to they conquer, and what xenos monstrosities to they face in the name of the Imperial Truth? Mark your conquests on the map.
>What does your legion do during the Warmaster's Heresy? Are they loyalists, traitors, or renegades? Which legions do they fight the most? What are their major battles and actions during the Warmaster's campaign? How do they fare at the end? If your Primarch is a traitor or renegade, does he become a Daemon Prince? Mark your battles on the map.

Aren't you getting XIV confused with the Scions?
Am I the only one who thinks we were extremely ripped off by our historical nobles not becoming god-kings through proper breeding and weight of the crown?
Do you guys prefer to use normal kings, or giants of men weighed down by authority and responsibility?
We are currently ruled by an elite group that pass on a more firm legacy than mere genetics. Money and education are far more tangible and far more powerful, and allow the men to select breeding partners on appearance, which is more reliable than trying to breed for intelligence, morality, or a sense of responsibility.
Just be glad our rulers have blessed some of us with our daily bread, and let us hope they forgive any of our trespasses against them.

You also have to remember that a lot of the elite from opposite genders meet each other at elite schools (Ivy League Schools and [insert other elite schools here]). From there, they continue to associate with one another in the higher levels of society that their elite education provided for them.
This acts as an enormous filter to keep the stupid, ugly, unambitious, lazy, and generally unsuccessful riff-raff from gene mixing with the elite. If anything, these filters have only grown stronger as women began entering the workforce.
It's a great time to be alive.
