After getting robbed and beaten on the side of a dirt road, you gather your bearings, Your horse is dead, and all of your belongings are gone, the bandits are taking off in two groups, one going towards the woods, and one taking off on horseback on the road.

You are the world's greatest adventurer. So great, in fact, you have completed hundreds of quests, explored uncharted lands and killed thousands without ever using any weapons, equipment or armour.
To propel the plot, you have decided it's high time you get yourself a sword.
You awaken in a hallway.

You manage to escape the officer's mess without anybody else trying to interrupt the Most Important Meal of the Day. There is only so much shit a man can take before his morning coffee, and when pressed to the wall, your retaliatory measures become lean, efficient, and downright cruel. God has smiled upon Yokosuka today, for nobody else had to suffer it.
You're standing outside, in the middle of a truly beautiful Japanese summer day. Light, fluffy clouds drift past lazily outside, and the heat hasn't yet become stifling.
The world is your oyster cracker - tasty, easily destroyed and all too brief an experience.
But hey, at least you still have your sense of humor!

"Wake up, Lifelaonino, we are moving."
You opened your eyes. Your head was killing you and your arm was not particularily well, either. Three Wood Elves were leading the way, with a ridiculous amount of goods loaded into a donkey. Behind you, the tree-hugger that woke you up was poking you with a spear to make you walk.
You don't remember anything, and your pockets only have a copper coin with a picture in it, a stick and two pieces of flint. Of one thing you are certain, you should escape the Elves before they get hungry, you are well aware of what Wood Elves do to captives when hunger kicks in.
But first thing first, you have to remember what the hell happened to you.

When the Conspiracy sought to end the Golden Age that Cinnabar Brenneka brought, the Shakarans were wiped out to a man. However, their legacy still persists in a being renown throughout the galaxy, known only by his battle-chant that rattles even the most grizzled merc in 10000 dalzerks.
SHAKARA!
You will take the role of a team of revived Shakarans, each one tasked to wipe out and foil the plans of its life long foes. We start with a party of four, each with their own deeds and atrocities done in the name of vengeance. Your stats are Kill and Hate. What does Kill do? It is how efficient you are at killing, or in rare cases, when your skills are brought to bear against a worthy opponent. What does Hate do? Hate is how much you despise your enemies and its ability to drive you to do dangerous acts.
However! You do not get to be an amazing assassin and not suffer a drawback. Each one of you possesses the Red Death in your forms and as such, you must get back to your base and regenerate lest it consume you from the inside out. Also, while your forms are hardy and full of vigor, when you get hurt, you will die.
We play this fast, so no worries about the quest seizing up.

Give us a name, like Shakara, the Ender of Shiskaloth, blablabla. But it always has top start with Shakara. Mention your deeds, any special qualities, etc. Then we can start.
Your eyes flutter open, to the sight of your bedside table.
A rat squeaks in front of your face as you steady your eyes on it, and quickly scampers away, with the sound of the little rat's feet filling the dark atmosphere of your room. But as the vermin leaves, you catch a quick glimpse of a shadow passing your window. Maybe it's nothing you thought, maybe it was just the patrol.
Something disturbs you, preventing you from sleep.
"Rats?" You lay in bed, conflicted. The dirty things have been pestering you for weeks in your little home. To get up, and look for the source would not only help you, but the town as well. However, that much investigation in something could invoke the intervention of the Patrol, and last time it did...
>Follow the rat?
>Stay in bed?
>>14704
Stay in bed. What kind of loony goes hunting after rats in the middle of the night?
>>14704
Follow the rat.
>>14722
You decide against chasing after the rat. It's just a rat after all, someone's going to take care of it sooner than later, and, well, what would people think of me going outside hunting for rats?
You have a bit of trouble trying to sleep, but, alas, it is a new day.
Stretching out of bed, the blue sky fills in the room with a warm light. After eating slices of bread, you decide to go outside.
Greeted by the sun, and the usual working people, everything's fine by the looks of it. However, the peace is broken by the patrol walking through the streets. The way they walk, the battering of their armor, it almost makes the whole town look like a graveyard.
As you take in the area, one of the marching men break off from the group and walks up to you.
"Yeh seen anything strange lately? Like... People?"
"What do you mean by people?" You ask inquisitively.
"Err... How do I explain it..." He pauses for a long moment, before he stutters an answer. "Sh-shadows?"
>Laugh at him
>Tell him about last night
>Say nothing

Let's play Hikikomori RPG, a TRPG normally meant for one player. This is very easy to play and the PDF is only 24 pages long, but I'll probably manage to find a way to fuck it up anyway.
I'll guide us through the game and write the end results of our actions according to the decisions made. Read the attached PDF for more information about how the game works as the game progresses, as I'll only be summarizing information from it.
When deciding on which action to use, after an arbitrary number of posts I'll select randomly using a hidden dice roll, but for all you know I'm just choosing whichever I like.

- HIKIKOMORI CREATION -
You are a Japanese hikikomori. Through some unfortunate twist of fate, you have become isolated, shutting yourself away from the outside world.

Actually I already fucked up, nice.
You don't roll for starting Hope, sorry, you just start with 3d10. My bad.
>Disclaimer: This might sound retarded because it's my first quest, if this even is a quest.
You are shit into the world by some magical sky nigger.
You and your thread bros are put into the central area of the map, in the Central Desert. One pixel on the map is equal to 10 miles.
You and everyone else on the thread are able to go out into this world 10 pixels at a time, which is 100 miles. To go somewhere, you make a reply and say which way you're going:
Example:
I am going northwest with my family to go to cooler, more temperate areas.
The World:
Biomes:
>Deserts: Hot and if you aren't 500 miles near water after five replies, you will die.
>Beaches: Hot and humid. You can't starve to death and you will be able to catch fish and shit
>Plains: Areas with no trees or sand. The temperatures are temperate and if you go 1000 miles away from water, you will die.
>Forests: Areas with trees on them. These include pine trees and deciduous trees. One can find water here when it rains, so you cannot get dehydrated here.
>Jungles: Areas with very thick and dark tree markings on the map. You can die of malaria here if you go more than 500 miles away from water or another biome, you will die.
>Mesa: Absolute barren wilderness. Will die from a heat stroke or gas poisoning.
>Mountains: Very cold areas where you will freeze to death. Don't go here if you're not ready. The stone areas are temperate, like plains. But the snowy areas will kill you.
Ocean:
You can make a boat if you are in a forest.
If you make a boat, you can go anywhere the water takes you for 1000 miles. The boat, after 1000 miles, needs to be restocked for supplies, or you will die. For long trips, riding on the shore lines is a wise idea.
To signify you're going somewhere, make a reply like this:
Example:
I am sailing southwest to get to my nigga's crib.
Death circumstances:
>Dehydration: Depends on the biome's rules.
>Starvation: Hunt an animal with a relevant hunting description, like how you killed it and with what, and what animal it is.
>Killed: People can kill you for whatever reason they want.
>Lost at sea: Go 1000 miles into the water without going to the shore will get you killed.
What to do:
You can kill people, make your own religions, make your own societies, make your own, um, anything. This is a sandbox and you are able to do anything in it.
Have fun?
1. How many are we?
2. What's our resource/hunger status?
3. We're going straight down. (south)
>>17956
There can be as many as you want, just be realistic with it.
The hunger and resource situation is this:
Hunger, you're completely fine when you "spawn" in.
The resources are a bare minimum though, so it might be smart to prepare before going anywhere.
I think this is a bit too freeform. Anyway, head south to the forest areas, down the river. Plan is to build boats, go up the river, the ocean and settle on the north-western peninsula.
We need to build a game.

After being left in the lurch by Decider at the beach, you had decided to head back home. The rest of the garbage-pickers seemed more than capable of finishing the cleanup without you once the main attraction had gone. The jog back to the apartment wasn’t particularly long, even after taking a more scenic sort of route along the oceanside.
You leave your wet and sandy runners at the door, moist-socked feet leaving phantom-like prints on the laminate floor as you make come back into the apartment. Damp hoodie draped over a chair, you follow it and sit down with a glass of water and some Triscuits. You check your phone, it’s just a bit after 1pm. You start to wonder what you’re going to do for the rest of your day off.
