Half of what makes Fallout Equestria so cool is that its a mix between like Cyberpunk/diselpunk and High Fantasy. You have dudes in bulky armor but you also have like alicorns with magical spells, forests that are magically protected from harm. Dragons turned into carpet bombers.
Use fantasy elements for the love of christ.
