Some might laugh, some might cry, but I've got a serious question about a working underbarrel shotgun attachment for a pistol. Got the idea after seeing the picrelated on Battlestar Galactica. If something like that was attached to the picatinny rail and was chambered for a 12ga or smaller would it have a chance of working without ripping off the rail, assuming the metal was thick enough? Of course the shot would go everywhere and slugs would not go far since the barrel is virtually nonexistent but the concept seems pretty badass. Thoughts?

.410 would be workable and you might be able to fit 2 rounds. it would effectively be a point blank noise maker and wouldn't really be super lethal. might be able to have a 1-time breaching aguila mini shell load somehow though which can be handy.

'Sup /k/! I'm greatly interested in World War 1 and really want to get my hands on a Gewher 98, Ross Mk2 or a Lee Enfield, but the problem lies in my residence. I live in Sweden. Is it hard to import such a rifle or is it manageable with relative ease ?

My mom and I have both shot before but we don't own guns. She's spooked by the race war and wants a handgun. What is a good first gun to own for self-defense (and potentially open/conceal carry) for a woman?

If she can shoot well and wants a cc with about 15 bullets go with a 22lr handgun. If she's just going for center mass grab a 9mm. Depending on clip size though it might be a bit large and heavy. Try out 22lr and 9mm's at the range.

some ex-member of Tag-E wrote an article about it and basically just said that they would have done things a lot differently to TOU. plus TOU literally killed a hostage, so they look a lot more incompetant than passing the bat to a group which conducts CT operations for the entire eastern side of australia - especially given the fears of a suicide switch/detonator on him and the threats of bombs and a secondary bomber throughout the siege.
essentially what i'm saying is that TOU need more training and a wider arsenal. so rather than dump them in favour of tag-e, train them up to be a viable alternative to tag-e.
