I'm looking for a .32 acp revolver.
Reason is I want something small-ish as a companion firearm to my Vz 61.
And yeah, I'm decided on .32 acp, if I wanted a 9mm para I would get it in the first place, so let's not get into a caliber debate.
That being said, what can I fire .32 acp out of? I'm pretty sure there are no revolvers directly for it.
Thanks for any info
Do some research on the 7.62 nagant revolver. And check out the 32 h&r and 327 fed mag revolvers. Might be able to have them cut for moon clips for resonance by a machinist gunsmith.
Why not auto?
>>30594420
>Why not auto?
This. There's a reason they called it /Automatic/ Colt Pistol.
>>30594043
>.32 automatic colt pistol
>what revolver
Bruh...
But anyway, anything that can shoot .32smith long, .32 h&r, or .327fed will also shoot .32acp due to it being semi rimmed.
So a shitload of different Iver Johnsons, smith model 2, ruger single seven/gp100/sp101, older smith 642, and Charter had one.
Is a colt 10mm auto a good investment? I mean fucking look at the beauty.
I'm still not sure if 10mm is just a meme round or what, but I now want a Colt 10mm pistol just to say I own it. Can I get one of these in Canuckistan? Handguns are perfectly legal as long as you have the proper papers and shit, but it can be hard to get shit from out of the country.
>>30594030
I've no idea brother, but in my country they sell just a glock 20 and literally no ammo for it.
>good investment
no
>good looking
i guess
>fun to shoot
you bet
>worth it
i don't think so
I am looking to get my first deer hunting rifle. I have never hunted.
I am hoping to not spend a whole lot of money, under $500 including scope if possible.
I am leaning towards Remington 783 in .30-06 caliber. Anyone have experience with this gun? Do you like it?

Savage Axis or Ruger American
Stop and actually do some research into the problems plaguing Remington.
>>30593737
Savage Axis II XP. Bar none. Don't even consider anything else.
>>30593755
Thanks, I will look into that. "t comes in 22-250, .223 Rem, .243 Win, 25-06 Win, 270 Win, 30-06 and 308, 7mm-08 Rem." any advice on that?
I've always been a really big fan of firearms for as long as I can remember, alongside practically any media depicting them (vidya games, tons of youtube vids, action flicks, that kinda shit.)
Sadly, I've never really had the opportunity to own a firearm because of a mixture of money limitations and shitty circumstances. I'm really close to getting out of all that though, and I'd really appreciate /k/'s opinion on the best firearm for a first time owner who wants something that's enjoyable to shoot and will last a lifetime (might wanna give that...

Similar situation with me.
Mossy model 88, 189.00
SVD9E, 299.00
Savage 308, 320.00
EAA Windicator, 310.00
All fun for under 400.00 each.
Don't forget to shop like you would for a car.

Honest
Real talk
Buy a Ruger 10/22. If you start out with a shoulderbuster like a nugget you'll develop bad shooting habits. Go buy a .22lr brick and shoot it all, edumacate yourself, and move up to the heavy stuff when you're comfortable.
As promised I scanned the book "SOLDATENBUCH" from 1958 which was handed over to soldiers in the Swiss army in order to prepare them for a possible invasion.
Here you can see the various tactics, doctrines and what each soldier was expected to do or how to behave in case of an invasion of Switzerland. It also speaks about the duties of civilians in these situations.
There's also a part showing each different corps of the Swiss army along with songs, prayers and other patriotic stuff.

Beijing South China Sea claims rejected by court
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-china-36771749
Can anyone explain what this means
B-but, PNG and Vietnam agree that the ruling is unbinding!
>>30593544
Some court ruled that the disputed islands in the south Chinese sea are legally part of the Philippines.
China will ignore the court ruling and the court wont do anything about it.

Makes me wonder, how cheap I could get a team wendy helmet for...
Well, /k/ommandos, I'll never be able to join you in Outer Heaven. I recently mustered up the courage and funds to make my first gun purchase (goddamned sexy-ass mossberg) and found, to my horror, that my background check came up negative.
I sent in the PICS challenge form to find out why, and it turns out that, back in 2006, I had involuntary commitment on my record. This is because when I was 14 years old, my mother found it more convenient to send me to a mental hospital for the summer than deal with a teenager.
I have no idea how to get my gun privileges...

>deal with a teenager
i've meet some good-willed teenagers in my life, believe it or not.
maybe you're just bitter about not being able to own a gun for being a degenerate
t. alcoholic
>>30593390
There's probably not anything you can do about that.
This might happen to me when I try to buy my first gun but I'm pretty sure mine counted as a voluntary commitment.
>>30593390
you could challenge it in court, I suppose. I've never dealt with so I'm not sure of what your chances are.
Also I'm unclear on the proper terminology, but 'negative' usually means something good when it refers to a check. see: HIV-positive
Never been on /k/ before, but I heard it's a nice place. For my first post, hows about some Underrated WW2 Guns? My pick's the BAR, it has a high caliber, shoots relatively quick, and is quite nice looking, aesthetically. But, then again, this was a trench cleaner in WW1, so...
You should have kept your posts at 0
>BAR
>Underrated
hahahah. It was a literal piece of shit
>>30593303
If it was that shitty why were BAR men targeted first?
>have had a multitool for ages
>almost never use the knife
>use the awl at least once every couple of days
>use the saw/file combo at least once a day
>use the pliers several times per day
>even when I was on a ship, I'd more often use the pliers or the screwdriver as a marlin spike than anything else, and didn't use the knife once ever
Why are knives considered...

>>30593013
sailors insist you should have a deck knife on you at all times, just in case
i've never seen someone actually use one except for cutting zip ties on nigger-rigged things about to get proper-rigged (and even then, it's easier to torque them apart with pliers than to cut through the strap, i find)
i've seen a lot of marlin spike usage though, and if i could have only one tool to call my own and had to borrow everything else from the ship, i'd bring my own nice big automatic wrench...

You know, it always felt sort of wrong that these type of ships are classified as "destroyers" even though they have the size and armaments comparable to a battlecruiser. Same deal with the Zumwalt.

you're one fuck up
Fine
Except he doesn't answer where the fuck his rounds go, though. Note the newer .50 cal one.
He sends rounds off into the air.

if so, I like him. The Potassium/sodium alloy bullets were amazing to watch in slowmo
So i was browsing /tg/ and i came across picrelated and now i'm curious how viable it would actually be.
Seems pretty solid to me (minus the pauldron on the left for overhead chops) but also i don't know much so please tell me the pros and cons of this armor.
Please and thank you

Everything about it is retarded.
Go look at actual armor. I'd suggest the avant armor, and the armor of archduke sigsimund.
Compare them to this trash.
