what do you guys think of the VEPR 12?
always wanted a nice Saiga 12 but could never justify the cost of modifications

It's fine if you want to piss off fudds at the skeet range

I love mine.
Bought one, probably the most impractical gun I own. Fun as all hell, and reliable out of the box with hotter bird-shot.
I want a red dot but i don't want an Aimpoint because its made in Sweden.
I hear Eotechs are bad so what are my other options?

whats wrong with swedish products other than the fact that you are supporting cuckolds?

Dear /k/,
How do we stop gun violence?
Is it increased regulations on who can actually own a gun? No, places like Chicago have provided a good source otherwise.
I propose that the US enacts a bill to require firearm safety for each and every person in order to carry a firearm. I grew up in an area where passing the firearm safety test was nearly a requirement for graduating from middle school and gun violence was (and still is) practically unheard of.
Why?
Once you learn to respect the gun, you learn to use it as a tool that could dismember you;...

>How do we stop gun violence?
Obviously with more gun violence.
>>30601548
Twiddle our thumbs and do nothing, considering violent crime per capita has been falling since the peak in the early 90's.
Also stop jailing so many niggers for nonviolent crimes, tbqhwyf
>>30601548
How do we stop gun violence? Eliminate the violent people. Once we purge ourselves of the problem, THEN educate everyone else. Otherwise you're just wasting time.
Are these stocks really as bad as everyone says?
>>30601370
no. everyone is wrong.
>>30601370
The sights suck, the trigger sucks, the new safety is nice. It looks awesome. Creaky material though. Lost optics mount a long time ago for mine.

OP would like to thank Bud's for this blog
Would you/do you run this ammo in YOUR AR? Or is it truly shit tier?
Getting ready to purchase a decent amount of 5.56/,223 - will shell out the extra cash, but why do it if you don't have to?
Downsides of running this stuff in your AR?
I shoot the shit out of it in my AKs, but wasn't sure about reliability in a weapon with tighter tolerances.
>>30601203
Golden tiger is good shit, but in general, yes, steel is shit

This thread is to discuss the idea of "S.F. require mental, not psyhical, expertise in recruits". I heard many comments among such line and i would like to collect examples and data.
i heard recruits get underfed, sometimes beaten up, and "weak" thin people generally pass the test. This is in opposition to the big muscle mass=true strenght idea which is so prevalent in most of society today.

Is there any alternative to the hi point that is reliable but also relatively cheap?
>>30600916
Bersa Thunder for a reliable .380
And well, I guess you can get Turk shit
>>30600916
For $150? No.
For $250ish (including FFL/shipping if bought online) you can get a Taurus Millennium G2, but they you're gambling with Taurus quality control. Say what you want about Hi-Point but they've never had to recall a million pistols for accidentally when dropped.
If you're OK with .380, new Bersa Thunders are $300 these days, but still good pistols.
You can find a load of used and trade-in Glocks and M&Ps for $350+ new, so once you get to this price range you're...

I've heard that hating on Hi Point is basically a meme for gun owners, but that they are actually okay for the price.
Alright. Little shitfaced right now and had an idea whilst thinking about what happens if shit hits the fan and I need a rifle that can penetrate thick slabs of concrete and steel. Would it be possible to fire a .50 caliber raufoss round or conventional ball or AP-I bullets themselves from a percussion .50 caliber rifle. Anyone of you anons brave enough to actually test this. I want to know whether or not if I had a musket and came across a large amount of .50bmg but no ma deuce or Barrett to fire it, I'll still be able to kill vehicles and other hard targets.

Can someone please explain the strategy and tactics that were used in the gulf war?
The commanding general flew back to the US halfway through to do exactly that. The whole explanation is on YouTube. Look it up and get back to us with what you learned.
Be more specific in your questions op. As far as the history of warfare goes it probably remains the most mechanized confrontation recorded. Outside of the battle of Kuwait Airport, Khafji, and special recon missions of the 10th sfg very little infantry action occurred.
