Any thoughts on what's become a must buy before the end of the year? Talking mostly handguns here, well aware of the AR situation. I figure with all the shit going on here, even more companies are going to be pulling out.

They'd lose on sea and in the air, but not without doing a more-than-expected amount of damage first. People severely underestimate how effective they could be in a defensive land campaign though.

I'm an ammo hoarder. All of my spare money goes to guns and ammo.
I wouldn't want to shoot any of it. Unless it was to defend myself in a civil war, or during home invasions.
I have hundreds of thousands of rounds total among all of my ammo (in all calibers).
Just ordered another 3k of brass cased 9mm for $540 shipped. I love getting good deals.
What are the differences (if any) with Glocks that say USA on the side vs. Glocks that say Austria on the side (besides where they are made).
Is the quality the same? Do you prefer one over the other?
Austrian Glocks use at least one of Hitler's pubes in every gun. They sneak it in to the injection molding phase and hope nobody notices. That's why they're produced in smaller volume than the made in USA ones.

The actual answer is in the finish to the slide. The Austrians use one (Tennifer? could be wrong) which is not allowed to be used in the USA because of the EPA. USA slide finish slightly different, *said* to be inferior (the most environmentally harmful shit is always the best). Other than that, no difference. Googly verify if you like, the gist is correct.
Anybody knows about the quality and history about this?
It's made in Spain, chambered in .38Spl. Manufactured around 1920-1930. It's worth about $150. Don't fire it without having a gunsmith check it out first; in all likelihood it has poor lockup.

What does /k/ think of being a violent nomad? Do y'all think it could be a (possible) way to make a living?
I haven't finished the book quite yet, but since the very beginning I have been wondering if it would be possible to make money and help the different communities become safer.
What does k think? Would a "violent nomad" be a /k/ tier/related "job"?

A "violent nomad" (from what I gather thus far) isn't a person randomly just capping people. They use espionage techniques to make neighborhoods safer. Sometimes resort to killing bad guys (drug dealers/rapist/child molesters/etc) but essentially travel around to help make the country safer through espionage tactics.
I'm not saying I am going to do this. I am just wondering what y'all think about it. I will find a link to the VN explanation for you. If I can't find a link I will post some pics from the book. (the one in OP pic).
Also, I was a recon team platoon sergeant in the Army. Then went into the Navy and was attached to a Special Boat Unit. Also have been through modern combative training (up to black instructor level). Was also the DM on my recon team. Was a combat medic. Along with many other certs from .gov. Also have been to the Dynamic shotgun/carbine/handgun classes taught by Travis Haley. So I am fairly confident that a street thug would have no chance. But like I said, this is just me wondering what the /k/ommandos think about it.

You join your national army.
If they are part of a un peacekeeping operation you may then be tasked to it.
Easiest way is to be a police officer then apply directly to the UN after 3-5years of service.... You will be investigating the UN blue helmets for rape and extortion.
