Why do you think SA?
>>
>>30588491
I don't know, just the last time I saw this wemb I thought someone said they were South African. Definitely looks like Africa-tier shenanigans

How viable is this?
Would it be a good [spoiler] zombie apocalipse gun?

Revolvers are dumb anywhere that a gun fed from box or tube mags would work. Cylinder gap bleeds off a ton of energy.
>>
As stupid as that particular gun looks, I would love for Revolver Long guns to be a thing again.
>>
Reminds me of metro 2033, but the thing about revolvers is their lack of shots and inability to be silence unless the round is chamber.

Is this a good deal? Better option than the Frankford Arsenal Tumbler?

been using one for 3 years. much faster than tumbling, but only cleans the cases, you cant polish them with it.
>>
i want to start loading pistol cartridges for USPSA use. what do i need? a set of resizing and reloading dies, deprimer, reprimer, powder dispenser/scale, and a press... how necessary is a tumbler?
>>
>>30587283
Is polishing a must? If I get this, what else would I need to turn my fired brass to loading ready?

Thoughts on the P320? I enjoy striker-fired handguns and think this might be a great buy for OWB carry and range plinking.

>>

They seem all right. The over-saturated market of striker-fired pistols would leave me to get whatever brand of striker-fired gun I was most loyal to.
>>
>>30587066
I thought the Trigger was really nice, but in the end I just replaced the Glock 19 I sold with another Glock 19. Smaller, easier to carry, more holsters, magazines are cheaper.

Most of my other guns are Sigs but when it comes to Striker, I'll just stick with Glock. Just my opinion. Like I said, the trigger on the P320 is great and you may love the gun.

Go shoot it and see what you think.

Shooting General, for rookies and pros

I've been shooting tight groups at 5 yards with my USP but I consistently shoot down and to the left. The act of pulling the trigger is making me jerk the gun. I'm starting to think of the gun as an extension of my arm and it's getting better but it's slow improvement. Any advice? Will the match trigger help with a clean pull through or do I practice practice practice? Once I start getting my groups in the middle of the target I can definitely shoot from a bit farther away but I'm embarrassing myself right now.

And I'm curious, where do you let your left hand go? Do you lay your thumb on the front of the frame and hold your right hand, or just leave your thumb limp and tightly grip your right hand?

If you're shooting tight groups you might want to experiment with hand position and trigger finger position.

>And I'm curious, where do you let your left hand go? Do you lay your thumb on the front of the frame and hold your right hand, or just leave your thumb limp and tightly grip your right hand?
Using the typical thumbs forward grip I favor gripping hard with the left fingers and palm area but not applying much pressure with the left thumb.
>>
>>30587048
Stop anticipating your shots. Tell yourself nothing will happen after you pull the trigger . With a solid hold, you'll drive a tack right where you point it.

Don't develop a flinch.
>>
>>30587048
This is a pretty common thing with the USP, especially the 45. I've had mine since 2010 and if I don't stay up on dry fire practice it bites me in the ass and I throw low left.

If you're a right handed shooter and pulling low left work on finger pad placement on the trigger. You want the center of the pad (the part where your fingerprint whirls or loops) on the front center of the trigger face. If you have small hands this can be difficult with a full size USP.

Clevelandbros, are you prepared for the RNC next weekend?

All the good ones have been sold off and the remaining ones are shit quality.

Pat Burns is still auctioning off her better M39s on GunBroker. If you want one in great condition bid on those.

I bought one back in December and had good luck, but that was an unissued one.

It has come to my attention that you can get a Remington Model 11 for around $300-400 on gunbroker. I need a shotgun for home defense, and my understanding is that the Model 11 is a really good semi-auto shotgun. My plan is to cut one down to 18in and use an aimtech scope mount to mount a reflex or red dot sight. Is this a good idea?

>tfw China still uses Tu-16s
>tfw their long range supersonic anti-ship missiles still make them fucking deadly against carrier groups

Shows how the arrow is largely more important than the archer these days.

Gif is from the recent South China Sea excercise, involving around 100 ships and planes together, training A2AD scenarios. A group of these H-6s with YJ-12s could threaten the USN considerably.

Hey /k/, just picked up this .303B 1920 Lee-Enfield today. Did I do alright?

No. Looks like complete shit, and it's actually probably really dangerous to shoot. The 1920s were plagued with barrel obstructions. Don't try to shoot it, OP. I value your life too much, I don't want you to get injured. Here, just send it to me and I'll try to fix it.

Is there a good single action pistol other than the 1911? All the designs I've seen either have atrocious triggers or unnecessary "features" that make the gun less usable.

I have a pair of Howard Leights that I've used for about 2 years, they work great but are a little thin and small, not providing a good seal when I try to get a good cheek weld with some of my rifles.

Also, took one of those little FiiO amps you would get for free with them and attached it to the audio port for added sound amplification for playing music from my phone/radio comms.

It's always good to double up. For me, electronic ear pro is just meant as an amplifier to help you hear non-gun sounds better. Good innawoods, turn up volume, feel like you're Predator.

the anxiety goes away with preparation.

/k/ can be a jump off point for the information needed to get in shape, get firearms, get confident with your firearms, and get an ammo fort.

while you're doing this stuff the anxiety dwindles, and by the time you've accomplished all that you'll be too busy to be that anxious, and the way you look at the world will have changed.

it's a long game
