Does anyone else open carry when playing Pokemon Go to dissuade potential muggers or attackers? A side benefit would be kids would be less likely to try to steal nearby Poke's if they saw you had a gun (not suggesting a threat! just a secondary benefit). Also post Pokemon Go high scores here.

Not how it works.

You see a poke, everyone can capture that poke within the time frame allotted for it.

Employees let me know if they find something, so i can get in on it, and vice versa.

Get a glock
Name it blastoise
Use hydra-shock ammo

I heard it's super effective

I did not know that. I've been yelling at kids and chasing them away from my yard.

I use my flashlight all the damn time. When I lost it and my multitool/knife for a month, I never missed having the multitool but I was cursing not having a light on me at least every other day.
>>
>>30583235
Okay.

Here you go:
-Concealable pistol (holster)
-Extra mag (holster)
-Knife (in pocket of dominant hand)
-Lighter (in pocket of dominant hand)
-Wallet (back pocket of dominant hand)
-Keys (non-dominant pocket)
-Phone (non-dominant front/back pocket)
-Sunglasses (on head)

There you go.

Why don't we just make bullets that act like shaped charges to literally penetrate tanks? The power of an RPG in a bullet. It would make the average soldier very power.

The Munroe effect falls off very rapidly with increasing diameters of the copper lining. You'd be lucky for the as-pictured round to maintain effectiveness past the end of a barrel.

That's not to say that you can't put a shaped charge in your projectile, the 40mm HEDP has exactly that inside of it.
>>
>>30582879
because the charge would have to be so big its literally the size of a rocket/grenade and at that point it would hardly be a 'bullet'
>>
>>30582879
>Why don't we just make bullets that act like shaped charges to literally penetrate tanks?
>literally

Do people just use that word for the sake of using it?

You need an appreciable amount of explosives to generate force and you need something to hold up long enough to direct the force and you can't reasonably cram either into intermediate or even large rifle rounds.

Why don't we use Coastal Artillery in modern war?

seems like a good deterrent to a amphibious assault

static position are pretty vulnerable to long range missile/aircraft attack, no matter how fortified they are

the only country who still invests a shit ton of money in coastal artillery is Taiwan

How many bladed weapons is too many for a bug-out bag?

At this point, I have 4.

I have a Fairbairn-Sykes fighting knife on my plate carrier for close quarters combat.

I have a Ka-Bar Big Guy mounted on the side of my pack for a heavy chopping and cutting knife.

I have a smaller fixed blade utility knife on my belt for things like cutting rope and other small operations where the Ka-Bar is impractical.

And finally I have a hatchet on the side of my pack as well, for when I need to chop much larger things that might damage my blade.

Is this too much shit? Is there a way to reduce this number down a bit by getting a blade that fulfills several of these roles?

How often have you taken this stuff out innawoods and found it to be useful?
>>
>>30582434

A large chopping knife really is redundant if you already have a hatchet. Either change it for fullsize axe or get rid of the Ka-bar. Either way, I don't see much point in carrying secondary chopping oriented piece of equipment if you already have a hatchet/axe, Otherwise, feels good. Having a smallish utility knife is underrated, your reasoning on CQC knife is sound, you have enough wits to bring a hatchet (just steer clear of the meme steel-tanged, tacticool handled ones, go oldfashion, it works best). You might have a think about replacing the kabar for a folding saw or those cord-like saws.

>How many bladed weapons is too many for a bug-out bag?

2 is plenty, a utility knife and an axe.

Fighting knives are retarded if you've already got an axe AND a gun. KaBar is slightly less retarded, but it's easily replaced by the axe and utility knife.

How good are palladium boots? I want a good pair of tactical boots that won't break the bank. (And these look dope as fuck to boot.) Are there any other, more reliable brands I should look at?

Get some surplus jungle boots.

Break them in by soaking them in water, lacing them up real good on your feet and walking 10 miles.

Then, apply a bunch of mink oil to the leather.
