Made a tiny rye with sesame. Didn't rise up much because it was too wet. Great bubbling though. Excellent flavor. My culture is really taking off after the switch to rye/wheat mix.

not, op, but I finish off a loaf of my home made sourdough bread every other day. It is great for you, provided you include some whole heat flour, and do not eat it with butter, jam, or anything fattening or full of sugar. I eat it with beans. Wheat is better than rice.
My hipster brother and his wife came round for dinner last night.
I found this morning he's left a couple of bottles of meme beer in the kitchen. I'm planning to use it n my beef stew recipe instead of the Guinness I usually use.

Guinness is a stout. Those are both IPAs. The result should be interesting.
You usually want to use a stout or a porter. Those are both IPAs and will probably give it a bitter flavor. Try it out I guess.

Depends on the size of the breast, the temperature of the room you're defrosting it in, whether you're defrosting in water or defrosting in the microwave, etc.

Not really, the outside would probably end up being tough with the inside raw.
You can boil it without defrosting without much negatives. Chicken soup? Wont be the best quality but if you are sitting there hungry with only the frozen breast it will do the job.
Put it in a bowl in the sink and run a small stream of COLD water over it for 15-20 minutes and it should be fine. Put it in a ziplock bag with the air removed if you want.

Hey /ck/, so I've been looking for a new job and I got an interview at this new burger joint that's opening up in my city. There's actually a few around here, but I've never been to one. It's not hard, I haven't worked in a burger joint, but you're making burgers. Chances are they will train you with their recipes and whatever else. Even then, you will probably in charge of cooking the meat or whatever or assembling it all together.

the first thing that I found was that they amplify regular salt; it is about a third as salty as pure salt to begin with, but when paired with regular salt I think it's more than that
so when using it it's important to significantly reduce salt
the next thing I realised was that f you put too much into food it very quickly makes things taste funny and unpleasant
you really only have to add a teaspoon for a pound of meat, however vegetables can take twice that
I only add it to dumplings, soups without pork and heavy sauces regularly
still persevering with my experiments
