Wondering what the fastest way to get from Marquette Michigan to Marquette Kansas is besides flying. Would rather not drive 16 hours but there don't appear to be any trains near either city.

Hey travelers. Thinking about RVing in Utah.
What are some things I should look out for when renting RV? Anyone have any experince with RVing or renting RVs?
I went to Moab, Utah three years ago. I stayed at a hotel on the main road there, and had a great time. Want to go again, but instead want to go from drive the RV park to park and well, park the rv, and enjoy the park.

Hey guys, I intend to go do Chinese New year in Chinatown. How to do it right? There appears to be two festivals, a firecracker and cultural festival on Feb 8th and a parade on Feb 14th.

I have a decent career but I want to take a 9 week break to teach english in china and get it out of my system (my company will allow this long max.). I am prepared to volunteer but it seems that these programs are either restricted to summers or in crappy locations with accommodation that isn't good for a bachelor like home stay or need to pay for bad home cooked meals etc.
Should I just get a normal one year contract and then break it after 9 weeks I'm ready via midnight run or something ? What are the consequences of this ? Could I be blacklisted...

I should also add the reason I wouldn't want to do a summer is that they normally involve being isolated in a camp or teaching weekends and nights......also I want to have the "real experience" of teaching in a classroom and not tutor some kids after class

They can guarantee I won't have any of my bottom 3, but my top 3 are merely hopefuls. However I really don't know much about these places that I have options for. You should give us some more info about you. Things like what climate you prefer; what hobbies you have, whether you're into nightlife or professional sports, or hunting moose... What sort of scenery or activities you're into as the life in Boston, Atlanta and St Paul is going to be much different from life in the smaller towns.

Hey /trv/ luckily I might have the chance to spend the summer with true Navajo natives. My father is a member of the tribe, so I think they'll be accepting of me. Is there anything I need to know about the deserts of Arizona/ weather/ equipment I'd need to work and explore at the same time/ Mexican drug trafficking in the Texan/Mexico region. Also, if they accept me as a member of the tribe, I might be able to live with them as my father had the chance to live among them after he became member. Thanks for the replies in advance if I forget about this post.

While you're there, check out Adlabs Imagica outside Mumbai. It's the only non-dirty-looking amusement park in India and has the best set of roller coasters in the country.
At the local Indian restaurant where I live, they have a statue of Shiva right next to the buffet. I don't know if you're caught up on your Hindu gods, but Shiva is known as "The Destroyer."
They keep the statue of Shiva next to the food as a warning for what Shiva is going to do to your asshole after eating Indian food.

What sort of advice are you looking for though? Anything specific?
It seems like a decent enough route. Research getting visas for Russia before going, you can't just show up at the border. Faroe Islands are interesting but might be too expensive for this trip, I suggest spending that money in Iceland instead. Unless you specifically want to see them, there's really nothing in particular that is great about the Faroes, they're more of a novelty location. Your budget is good for this trip, even though these are some of the worlds most expensive countries,...
