It seems with Japanese developers, there's always "that guy in the shadow" that's really the brains behind the whole group. Inafune had that one Akira Kitamura guy, who later made Little Samson. Kojima has that Tomokazu Fukushima as a co-writer, and some people say that it was Fukushima that was responsible for the game's (relative) plot.
Yeah, don't really get why Kamiya gets so much praise when all of his games have shit gameplay.

Remember that movie tickets cost aroung $12 and video games cost $60. Sometimes $100 depending on Jew tactics from publishers.
Considering games are 60 dollars on release, and movie tickets cost considerably lower than that, I'd say there's no really comparing them.
Either way, movies still and always will affect society more than games do/will.
