The game went through a lot of development hell to get to the point it is at today.

No, this is not a >le did nothing wrong XD thread. It can easily be seen that the Assassins were the cause of much civil and economic unrest throughout the series to attain their goals of defeating the Templars. They did more harm than good.

Far Cry 3/4 can be pretty fun when you stick to the bow, but getting a fully upgraded quiver takes a pretty long time. Fun with fire/explosive arrows, though. Really gives you that Rambo experience.
The Mount and Blade series is pretty fun as far as bows go. Horse archery is great.
Dying Light added a bow with a DLC pack and it's pretty fantastic, although shooting zombies that can't fight back gets old fast.

Unlikely to go on sale so soon after release.
It's. . . Well, if you like Project Reality, you're going to love Squad. But right now, Project Reality has WAY more content. Dozens more maps, loads more factions, weapons, vehicles, everything. And PR is $40 cheaper than Squad. So, right now, I think it's not that great a buy. In a couple years, when they've had time to port over assets and expand the content and features, it'll be a better buy.

Yes. It's the forebear of the EXVS series, and though it didn't become the fast paced and balanced competitive game it is until Alliance vs ZAFT, it's certainly a fun game.
No idea but I say go for it.

So now that we all known Helldivers won't be in the winter sale, is it still worth buying the base game for around ~15 eurobucks? The game looks alright enough, it's just that those metric fuckton of DLC packs kind of have me worried. I don't want to get this only to find out I need to shell out 20 more bucks to get the gear required to keep up in later levels
